I like this - doesn’t have a neat finish though, similar to Houdini. Not sure how I feel about either of them as singles but I like the sound, so gimme that album.

I like it, it's a catchy and fun bop, not a fan of the bridge tho - I'd be totally fine without it. Also, the last chorus needed to be much stronger, something similar to the live Grammys performance would be great. Much better than Houdini imo.

Dua's videography is really meh, so I'm not really surprised at that zero replay value video. This video would fit the song better:

you mean like a step down from a previous very successful era? Future Nostalgia was big in the US, but I'd never compare it to TD, it's more on par with Prism and One Of The Boys (2 huge hits with 2-3 other top 40 hits). 

So far, it reminds me of Dawn FM. FN and AH were THE albums of the 2020, both lead singles were hits, but not even close to the top 10 hits from their previous albums, you can hear the difference between AH-DFM and FN-DL3(so far), but nothing drastic. It's still very early to talk about this, obviously.

The extended version, which sadly doesn't have new lyrics like "Houdini", is the superior one for me, like the extended edit of her previous single. As a side note, I guess they're going with and maximizing everything during the week release because of the three aforementioned versions.

Houdini never quite hit with me. Like, it just ended up sounding kind of bland or like it needed some oomph or something. However, I think this is sublime lol. I wish it had been the first single. But, I guess most people like Houdini better so maybe not?

This is a tad repetitive, and would have benefitted from a bit more variation/build/urgency. That being said, I do enjoy it. However, the video is an absolute bore. Whoever developed this treatment should be exited from her team permanently. Absolutely nothing interesting happens, there's zero tension and she looks about as engaged as we are. For someone who knocked it out of the park with the FN visuals - particularly with the masterpiece that is Physical - this era has been a drastic step down.

Okay... unpopular opinion, but I like the video, lol. It captures the theme of the song perfectly IMO. The overabundance of choice and the disillusionment with the dating scene, dating apps, etc. Yeah, she looks bored, because she IS bored. The same way most of us got bored with that sh*t ages ago. Maybe I'm giving it too much credit, but I get what they were going for.

But she's never been a strong visual artist, all of the FN vids were random and bad IMO. "Physical" was the only one that kinda came together.

but that's no reason for us to be bored. I get the concept, but they could've made the video a bit more interesting - yes, there are some cool shots, but overall this just feels like it was filmed 5h before the release. 
it's 2024, people don't care about MVs like before, so this won't play a big role.
