Hello y'all, I am BACK with another year end countdown! 2023 was quite a change of pace for me compared to 2022, overall it was filled with positive memories and good music.

Several artists really defined the year for me, with Beyoncé and Victoria Monét really dominating my music listening lol. There are quite a few artists with more than 1 appearance though! Starting off with a release that'll be popular for many people! This should've been a bigger hit this year, it's just so iconic...

First of several Victoria songs to appear! This was charting for a bit already, but between STM and the album release, my plays for this jumped up a decent amount more.

Back On 74 was a HIT for me this fall. I remember listening to this album like late August while the sun was just setting... Such a vibe. Also if you haven't already, you need to watch this music video!

yes I did chart a Ratty Healy song this year... this is a jam and was on repeat at the start of the year.

Between zippy sending this for March Madness and also seeing them live earlier in the year, I was jamming to this quite a bit. Such a cool song!

Time for another hit, probably one of the most interesting hits of the year! Escapism is just overall a great song with so many layers of interesting production, lyricism, and just cool vibes.

One of the main standouts from this album, though love everything from it tbh. SIMBI is still a bit stronger but both are great.

While I wouldn't call this my *favorite* Renaissance track, it's really grown on me this year. Seeing her live was the reason this really hit my rotation playlist. The live performance is so good, and I eat up the transition from this to Alien Superstar every time I watch it.
