I LOVE the song. Country/country-adjacent sounds just suit her voice like a pair of gloves. I’m so excited for this album; it sounds like a return to form for her sonically after star-crossed was met with more of an icy reception from Pulse.
That zine is MINE. I don’t know whether to pre-order the Amazon vinyl or wait for release day and just go to Target, both variants’ discs blend in well with the color scheme of the cover.

It’s SUBLIME.
What a beautiful return to the sound and songwriting of her previous projects. I enjoyed many aspects of starcrossed, but this brings me straight back to a combination of her debut and Golden Hour. It feels like one big exhale. I love it, and her.

This doesn't sound like anything that would feel at home on her first three albums. It's more so an expansion on the sound she brought in star-crossed in my opinion. I'm not blown away with it by any means, but I think it's decent and like the message.

Something tells me this will end up being my favourite album from her Same here. I've been hot and cold on Kacey (I did really like Star-crossed overall and I was a fan of Pageant Material), but I am REALLY excited for this, based on the single. Beautiful and I LOVE the lyrics. |

Can’t say I’m in love with the single/title track but a Kacey album has never disappointed me so I’m nonetheless ecstatic that it drops so soon.

deeper well is a great song and so far I have listened to it many times and don't get bored
But I never really like this style much maybe because I don't care for folk
I kinda wish she could go back to her first 3 albums but I guess that period of her life has passed

I’m thrilled I don’t have to drive 7 hours each way to see her on tour this go round! Being able to walk to the venue from my place in Charlotte is the cherry on top though.

The new song is certainly pretty, but I guess I've become such an albums kind of fan when it comes to the artists that I follow, so I really need to listen to the whole album before getting really into the songs individually. 🙂
