I think they really need a good remix. Taylor has a major (streaming) disadvantage with her songs because of how much they are streaming initially and through the first few weeks. To many of her fans, the songs already feel "old" so even if radio were to play others from the album, streaming might not be enough to make them into mega hits without a superstar remix.

I hear that and it’s perfectly logical. However, I think I disagree. Did the Karma remix really help that song’s chart run? Also with Post already featuring on the first single, I’m not chomping at the bit for another feature, especially in any throwaway capacity. I think what she really needs is a song like Karma or AH, which all three of her main radio formats can latch on to and take to the top. I think that potentially results in a slow build major hot 100 hit, even if streaming doesn’t completely explode. I think the song with the best shot at that strategy is MBOBHFT.

I think DB would sonically sound best on radio, especially during the Summer. I think it would also make for a really interesting MV! Also I think it’s more catchy and the GP would resonate with “Now I’m down bad crying at the gym” more than “My BOY only breaks his favorite toys”

I think it may be time to pivot. It would be such an easy, effortless Billboard #1 (and should do at least top 20 on Pop).

The fact that they aren't letting this go and no 2nd single even announced more than two months into the era leads me to believe we might not be getting any other singles, and that they want to push this one as far as it can possibly go. Rep TV might be coming sooner than we think, and then possibly a break. Or maybe a long break first, and then Rep TV next year.

I first heard the BLOND:ISH Dance remix and liked the way the synths highlight her vocals. I then heard the album version weeks later and couldn’t believe how slow and boring it was. Just my two cents as a casual listener.

Success rarely has to do with talent or quality. It's evident that Taylor is in vogue, and anything she does is going to sell. I'm not saying it's a bad album, just that it's disappointing. Maybe she should stop churning out songs like crazy. Less is sometimes more.
