I can remember tracking the Halo CHR run as one of the most vivid ever. It was completely infuriating because for a long time it looked like CHR was gonna let it flop hard (which made NO sense at the time), and then they finally got it together only to inexplicably let it stall at #2 in the end and still be a frustrating run lmao.

Honestly I think this might be a little too hokey for pop radio, it's pretty radio friendly but it's a bit novelty song-like. I honestly don't see it going much further. I hope BODYGUARD gets a big radio push and a streaming boost because it's the best song on the album.

Not coming after your opinion on the song since that’s your opinion of course, but I am very confused why some fans are so sure that one would smash when it’s the total musical twin of Taylor’s I Can See You? Aka Taylor’s only real flop since Midnights (despite it also getting one of the biggest pushes from her)? I think casuals would kinda tire of the type of song BG is quickly tbh.
