^Probably yes. At US Spotify, it had a bit more than 500k more streams during its four days than during its whole second week.

^Probably yes. At US Spotify, it had a bit more than 500k more streams during its four days than during its whole second week. The first four days are often the biggest streaming days of a song, and since this wasn't promoted at all to radio and acted as the companion song in the shadows of Texas Hold 'Em, I actually think it held pretty well and was surprised it didn't drop further.

It’s somewhat historic, the first female country solo number 1 since 2005. We Are Never Ever and All Too Well count technically speaking. Also, Gabby Barrett's "I Hope" (without the Puth credit) spent 27 weeks at #1 on Hot Country Songs in 2020. The Good Ones also spent 4 weeks at #1. The Bones by Maren Morris was #1 on that chart for 19 weeks. Not sure if the OP post was in jest or not but there are many examples of solo #1's by female artists on Hot Country Songs.
