Yes please! I think they'll hold off until late May/early June. By then "we can't be friends (wait for your love)" should have got to #1 and be starting to decline.

I would like to see this evidence this has been officially selected. 7 adds seemingly unprompted isn't in itself confirmation and so far I feel like that's all US Radio Updater is basing this claim on. Unless there's been some internal communication between the label and radio PD's, nothing's official yet.

Okay, that's interesting. Still wanting to hear some official word from Ari/Interscope though. If the above is true and is the current plan, then barring a re-release three more singles from the album leaves things open for 'True Story' to maybe get a turn.
Also, according to the latest HITS update I've seen, this is now up to 14 adds and is currently in the top 5 most-added.

Don't get me wrong I love the song but with the way Ariana has talked about the album and this song it doesn't really make sense as a single (doesn't really represent the album well and was moreso made for the fans), this will rightfully smash anyways
However, if the 6 singles theory is true it makes a lot more sense, 'supernatural' is an obvious choice and since it's her favorite I could see 'imperfect for you' get a push too, closing the era out with 'eternal sunshine' would be fitting (barring no rerelease, a case could be made for 'don't wanna break up again', 'true story' or 'bye' as well, the album is just phenomenal)

It's not like the Wicked songs will go for radio adds. There's no reason her label can't work radio singles in the background while she's promoting Wicked, especially into 2025 awards season.
