This song was doomed from the beginning.
It’s pretty, but they could have picked a better second single.
Just because Miley is on it doesn’t necessarily make it a hit.

While I respect everyone's opinions, I can sort of see why they picked this as the second single, even if I don't feel it was the best choice. Pop radio was quite kind to "Used to Be Young," which made it to #3 despite being a ballad and having very little streaming, so perhaps they were hoping the same for this since Miley was on it. I'm not quite getting enough freefalling energy from this to drop updates, but I think it's very likely done and I'd be very surprised if I'm still updating for this in a week. I'm still a bit baffled why they sent it to Rhythmic though, did they really think there was any way this was going to top the charts there?

In terms of the next single, I'm guessing they'll probably release "Levii's Jeans" once "Fortnight" and "I Had Some Help" peak. I still think that's likely the reason they defaulted to this, since they didn't want LJ to be cannibalized by two other Post Malone songs that had the possibility of being hits. I'd love if they made "Bodyguard" a single too, but sadly I doubt we'll get a fourth single if they choose LJ as the third.

Did anyone think that Miley = automatic hit? She’s had one big hit in the past decade which is starting to look like a fluke.

Anyway, considering that it’s Beyoncé I suspect this era is over already.
