Beyoncé & Miley Cyrus - "II Most Wanted"

Not sure what the strategy is with this one. Beyonce is hard to predict because for so long she hasn't cared about the commercial performance of her projects.

Texas Hold' Em is still climbing so she's not desperate for a hit on radio. This performing well out of the gate is good and positions it well for a second single, but streaming has already slowed and cooled, which doesn't bode well for longevity of this outside of curiosity listens. I could see a world where they just let THE do its thing for a while, let this hit a brick wall, and then decide to send something out in the fall. That seems like the best-case scenario right now. I could also see them not doing anything if this stalls. That's just how random Beyonce is these days.

Renaissance didn't really have much of a roll out. There was Break My Soul, and then it felt like Tik Tok forced Cuff It to be released reluctantly. Beyonce was on a sold-out tour, and the label seemed to be happy not releasing anything all the while she was performing all across the country with no active single.

LEVII'S JEANS or TYRANT seem like infinitely better single options, especially heading into summer.

What I’d give for a full blown Tyrant single push just to see what can happen there… I don’t think there’s any chance though (nor do I think it’s worth the risk over the more surefire LJ comes first).

This was an instant favorite for me idk. Miley and Beyoncé weirdly compliment each other in a way I would not have expected.

I’m on the fence about this being a single too, but I see what they’re going for with Miley’s name on it. It’s an attention-grabber and already went semi-viral on social media. Streaming will probably eat this up but good luck and God speed to radio.

This already peaked at #6 on the Hot 100, which matches "Cuff It." So she has a #1 and #6 from each act so far.

I think their vocal chemistry is phenomenal, not sure if I’d like the song as much otherwise.

I genuinely wonder if people are going to be confused about this being a love song between them lol? Not that that should matter at CHR anyways, but I could see some of the conservative country stations having a fit over it and embarrassing themselves. Not that I think a Miley + Beyonce song can get a ton of country support anyways, but in theory this is sonically a song for country radio.

This song is not a favorite. Miley's voice sounds good. Maybe it will grow on me. Nowhere near as good as THE. However, this does seem like the best single for radio.

It really is a country song (not even country pop imo), so I can totally get if it didn’t hit in a lot of non-US markets (though it seems like it had a good streaming start in a lot of places).
