Is this considered an unexpected comeback? Haven't heard the song yet, but was there a Tik Tok behind this success or something? Or was it played on a TV show? I know very little about him besides the Church song from a decade ago so this success surprises me.

It is to me. He released an awesome album last year which has better songs than this one, and hasn't made no noise comparing to this.
I really don't understand what happened to this EP lol I mean, it's great, but this chart performance is so unexpected.

Ha! no. I rarely comment on anything here anymore, it was just an observation about something that myself and some other people in the industry have been commenting about.

I welcome it! It’s been too long since there was a solid singer/songwriter era. I wish there were more women artists in the mix though. Maybe a comeback from Michelle Branch.
