I'm more concerned that after the flurry of activities, things just ended up dropping off and we're back to months of nothing. The aforementioned busy weeks during Summer 2022 ended up being followed by like 5 months of dryness chart-wise

Given the overall direction of music the past decade to more low-key vibes and more subdued vocals, Benson Boone's success is so confounding to me. I gave his album a spin and it's... loud af. Like everything is turned up to 10 in the mix, curious to see if he can land anymore hits.

I feel like we don't have that middle ground anymore, it's either this or that. My 2024 playlist already has more than 30 songs (2023 only had like 50-55) and I'm really happy about it, but on the other hand A LOT of songs and albums will be lost in the shuffle. For me, this would be enough for now, but Taylor, Weeknd, Billie, SZA, Cardi, Playboi Carti, Dua, Future/Metro, Katy, Camila, Kanye?, Drake? are set to release their projects/songs soon, and we have a TikTok hit by random artists every 10 days.

BUT, I don't want to complain much, if I have to choose, I'd rather have this over Lovin' On Me, Cruel Summer, greedy, Snooze and I Remember Everything in the top 10 until July.
