GloRilla & Megan's "Wanna Be" will likely be one to look out for. Rises to #1 on the US daily youtube chart for 9/10th April, rises to new peak of #28 on Spotify and is #4 on Apple Music (falls 1 spot due to Future/Metro new album).
Label should send it to Rhythmic/Urban radio as it is looking like it could be a big hit given it's reaching/at new peaks in streaming a week on from release.

My lord, what is happening with Dua? Why is this entire album rollout flopping terribly when she's one of the biggest pop stars in the world right now? Better questions: Why is Dua's US fanbase rejecting her new music? Who is her fanbase? Even if she's been radio-dependent, why isn't her fanbase streaming? I like her songs, but they are total ear-candy, disposable pop song - that's not a criticism. If you go through music history, it's always been challenging for female pure pop stars to keep formula going. Very few get two big eras, most are replaced by the next-hot act. |

Future/Metro for sure has to make the title track a single. A 80s synthwave/trap infusion with The Weeknd on it and its also the highest song right now on AM at #2 (its the intro track so thats also a reason but then again the first album straight up had Like That go #1).

J. Cole is on the album, and The Weeknd and ASAP Rocky send shots at Drake. Still unclear if the album will have a moment like the last one, listening to it there's nothing really on the level of Like That, nothing I hear that's gonna perk anyone's ears even with the few Drake disses from Weeknd and Rocky. The whole album is also a lot more dance-y, vibey like Weeknd's Dawn FM or Future's 2017 album HNDRXX, so the less trap production might give the album less longevity, at least on Apple Music where rap is more popular than pop. We'll see.

J Cole's 7 Minute Drill has been removed from streaming services. If it debuts higher than #9, it could have the biggest drop off in Hot 100 history (excluding the Prince songs that re-entered after his death).

Wow, Shaboozey is #1 on iTunes with A Bar Song (Tipsy). The song is super catchy and the exposure on Cowboy Carter surely helped too.
