Eminem made an obituary for his alter ego SLIM SHADY in a Detroit newspaper a few days ago leading fans to believe the single will be called "Will Never Forget". The song (album?) is set to be released 12am on Friday, May 31, as confirmed on his socials yesterday.   He also changed his profile photo to a RABBIT. |

I'm so excited! I hope it has a big launch. The cover is kinda cool but kinda "busy" if that makes sense. I prefer more low key but I at least like they are putting effort into this. Hopefully it will have some promo as well on late night or award shows performances and even a little promo tour for the album

Maybe it's quite a coincidence that the song's title "Houdini" is done by another superstar earlier this year, and that was Dua Lipa. As for this new Eminem song, this could be a comeback hit on pop radio if it gets pushed in to the format, considering that he hasn't had a hit on the pop radio charts for 6 years since "Walk on Water" back in 2018.

Is the song great? Nah. But it's refreshing having this version of Eminem back. In an increasingly wimpified world, I can't help but appreciate someone showing up to stir the pot.
