hopefully it keeps going. would like a top 3! also, I just wanna say how crazy it is that CHR was even playing Stan LOL. A 6 minute song basically about killing your wife and pregnant child and it got to #31. Eminem was so huge in 2001 that radio just wanted to play him no matter what, I think the crazier thing is Lose Yourself going #1 on CHR, it's probably the hardest song to ever go #1 on pop radio. |

He didn’t really become big on pop radio until the next year with “Without Me” becoming both his first top 10 and first #1. I think “Stan” was just a big pop culture moment and by that point, he was huge on MTV and elsewhere. Even “The Real Slim Shady” missed out on the top 10. Radio was just slow to catch up. The radio edit cuts it down to maybe about 5 mins? I remember thinking it pretty intense for radio still though. The Eminem Show album though had a bunch of Top 10s, during which “Lose Yourself” was also a hit, plus “Hailie’s Song” made top 50 as a non-single, which was uncommon at the time. |

I'm wondering if they are going to save the real push/promotion for another single or try with this... hopefully they push it a bit to radio. It should easily be able to get a Top 20 CHR peak.

I streamed Channel 955 (Detroit iHeart CHR) today and they are stanning this song. I heard it 3 times and each time the DJ live-intro’d it talking about how much they loved it. There’s also a ton of other Eminem on their playlist.. I heard My Band, The Way I Am and Monster all in the span of 1-2 hrs.. really cool throwbacks

Actually Kendrick's opening week was 55M, so it goes to Eminem for debuts. However the week after that Kendrick did 73M.

You have to calculate everything yourself by adding together the spin, bullet and audience numbers on the Leaders/Starters pages for the song. Spincrease will also show numbers, but it includes numbers for all stations, not just the published panel. |

Copy/paste both leaders and starters into Excel, one below the other so the columns match up Remove duplicate stations (since some are on both L and S) Take note of how many stations you have and compare it to the #stations showing on Spincrease. Whatever the delta is between the two, add that many spins to your ‘this week spins’ number (since a single spin by a station won’t register on Starters but will count on Spincrease’s # of stations) Do a sum of your TW, LW, bullet and audience and there’s your mock up. But yeah to your point the difference between Published and All Stations can skew it a bit |
