Coz his indie record is so much cooler than that. I saw him live, he should be a tad more humble I thought he was a part of Warner 1:18

I don't follow Eminem, but is there a particular reason to think this new song will be that big considering he hasn't had a true smash in like a decade? A lot of of his recent stuff has been surprised released/dropped and this era he has gone back to building anticipation for the release. Anticipation online seems to be growing/positive. It is also a return to his iconic 'Slim Shady' persona (and calling it the "death" of it) so there is some real potential depending on the song quality. Charts are pretty competitive right now though so we will see if it can manage to take off.

Em’s washed at this point. Can’t imagine Houdini staying in the Top 10 for more than a week, hope I’m wrong tho.

I don't follow Eminem, but is there a particular reason to think this new song will be that big considering he hasn't had a true smash in like a decade? He does have big debuts, though. Gozilla landed at number three when The Box and Life Is Good were massive, and Killshot would've probably debuted at number one if videos counted. I think it all depends on if it's any good - if it's as good as Godzilla, it should debut very well. If it's as bad as some of his album cuts have been, it'll tank HARD after day 1.

For Zach, i think he’s just mad that Pink Skies is getting pushed to pop at all. And i get it, the song is very not pop. Granted i also get why the label did it, given how IRE and SITO did on country radio they probably just want whatever radio promo they can get.
For Em, i doubt he has the capabilities to debut at #1 atp but i definitely can see him making the top 5.

Really curious how long I Had Some Help spends atop the chart just by virtue of everything beneath it sliding by similar amounts and letting it stay #1. Also, this year has gotten people accustomed to songs spending time at #1 and then never returning, but with Posty's album on the way, I can definitely see it returning to #1 even once it falls, so it could spend 10+ weeks non-consecutive.

Speaking of Zach Bryan, he went on a rant on Twitter (not calling it X LOL) saying he was super upset his new song was going for "pop" adds I read his tweets and it seems he's upset that people consider him pop? I mean, he's a folk country artist but he's incredibly popular. Of course pop radio wants to pick his new single up. He's probably upset people consider him a TikTok artist since most of success comes from the platform, but if that's the case take your music off the platform and call your audience lame or something and disappear into the indie void. As much as I don't like Morgan Wallen I've never seen someone embrace their success more than him, he's not worrying about people calling him pop or a TikTok artist, he sells out his tours, does collabs with Drake and Post Malone and minds his own business. Zach's a sensitive guy, often without a filter. Part of what makes him intriguing as an artist also lends itself to him having these outbursts, but anyone who listens to his music knows that this is a theme he often talks about and owns. Sometimes it goes too far (his arrest) but in this case I think that he heard from a 3rd party source that Pink Skies was being sent to pop without his consent and got triggered. It's interesting to hear such a high profile artist in such an unfiltered way, often times we hear stories years later about how an artist was difficult to work with or had some type of problems during an era. I'm a huge ZB fan so obviously this is just my take on it, and while I don't condone bad behavior I don't think in this case that's what it is, and it's refreshing to see in real time what he's thinking even if it's messy. To be honest though, Pink Skies would sound so out of place on pop radio and not get airplay anyway, so I don't get why it's such a big deal. I think the label clarified that this is not a single in the end? Just a focus track or something. Same thing IMO. Also Zach and Morgan are completely different stylistically and artistically.

Tinashe entering the top 200 on Spotify is the only thing that matters this week chartwise. Gosh, hadn't noticed that!! So happy to see that, she's #189 with 380K streams! After scoring a hit back in 2014 with the wonderful 2 On, I've been rooting for her to really take off! She has so much potential, she's gorgeous, a great dancer and has such a smooth voice! Tinashe has been delivering solid albums consistently and she really deserves to finally get her big break. Anyway, love the song Nasty and the video is pure fire! That choreography is just sizzling perfection, channeling mid-90s Janet Jackson and specifically the You Want This video. Here's to hoping this grows on streaming and Rhythmic and Urban really pick it up! I'd just love to see her score a big pop radio hit eventually, one can always hope!

Hopefully Eminem will be blocking them all next week. I don't follow Eminem, but is there a particular reason to think this new song will be that big considering he hasn't had a true smash in like a decade? His most recent era was 4 years ago, and has a 2B+ streamed single. He's one of the most streamed artists in the world, despite debuting decades before the streaming era. He still outsells/streams most of our faves, even with little promo. Considering that it appears he's doing a proper push for this single, and that it sounds more pop leaning, I can see it debuting at #1.

Could it have 3 runs at #1? Granted that depends on if Shaboozey's album can send A Bar Song to #1 but i could see it. I'm also not sure if it can get to 10 weeks (let alone the amount of weeks Last Night got) but i think that depends on stability. It has more radio potential than Last Night did for sure. Zach and Morgan are the Kendrick and Drake of country but people aren't ready for this conversation If this means we're getting country music beef later this year then hoo boy...

I don't follow Eminem, but is there a particular reason to think this new song will be that big considering he hasn't had a true smash in like a decade? His most recent era was 4 years ago, and has a 2B+ streamed single. He's still one of the most streamed artists in the world, 20+ years after his prime. He still outsells/streams most of our faves, even with little promo. Considering that it appears he's doing a proper push for this single, and that it sounds more pop leaning, I can see it debuting at #1. Yeah, he regularly is one of the top streamed on spotify. I believe he is still top 10 of all time as well and that is ahead of countless other mainstream/current artists. If the song connects, it will be huge. the slim shady nostalgia factor could really make it explode especially if the song itself is good

Seems to me like, relatively speaking, the only song on TTPD actually doing well on streams is ICDIWABH. Fortnight has been relatively unimpressive past it's frontloaded launch. WAOLOM pops up a lot on TikTok so I think that one might hold on better than the others. But overall, kind of a non event once the debut hype died down. I think they need to move on to the second single soon-ish if they want to catch the "Anti-Hero"/"Cruel Summer" lightning in a bottle moment again.
I'm kinda more impressed that a Billie album track seems to be on the verge of overshadowing her lead single. Kendrick's song as well has outlasted the feud and turned into a legitimate bonafide hit. Good for him after his last album didn't really kill it on the singles department.

The album era segment was an absolute borefest at her concert. She tried her best to live it up, bless her, but the complete 2/5 quality couldn't be saved.

Nothing on the album beats the Happier than Ever song, but on the whole it's much better than that album. I'm gonna give her some flowers for it because visually they really stepped it up and tried to do something different. You can see the effort. But yeah the music isn't on the same level for me either.
