I honestly kinda have started to understand why some people hate radio. This isn't even top 10 yet when it was a huge deal everywhere for weeks now. By the time airplay peaks everyone else will probably be burned out on the song (not to mention Sabrina could and should drop a third single when the album drops). I agree with you, but do most radio listeners now a days care about the latest thing? The few friends I have that listens to radio are just looking for something they’re familiar with. However I’m in my mid/late 40’s and that seems to be the age people just want familiar music to listen to so I could be way off. Yeah to be fair the radio listener demo is probably trending older and older every year and they might not be the demo listening to the top spotify charts. But still I think radio could pick up the pace a bit even if it shortens some runs which honestly wouldn't be bad. |

Somewhat awkward/weird timing for the album release in August if both singles will have peaked by then … the timing of the single rollouts relative to each other and to the album is definitely re-writing the dos and don’ts in the business. Album release notwithstanding , having two pretty much simultaneous hits turned out to be genius. You would think one would’ve cannibalized the other. But no!
