Super happy for her success but I’ll tell ya, they are PUSHING this girl especially on DSP’s. I’ve noticed no matter what genre playlist or song radio I listen to on Spotify- somehow either this or Espresso somehow end up playing. What I’m really interested in is seeing the album impact (sans streaming as I like to see how many people took a real effort and initiative to get the album & support the actual artist).
With her and Chappell Roan tho- it’s a tough time to be a female pop artist rn in the pop landscape and some are DEFINITELY going to get lost in the shuffle and have to regroup.

I hope Olivia hits back harder and it fuels some inspiration for a more commercial third album.

It's the anniversary of Taylor's "Lover," but that's obviously not the reason. Dunno why; if they released the album earlier it would debut higher, but maybe they're going for a third single? |

Maybe because post-album singles aren't doing well these days. PPP should be peaking on radio around then, so perfect timing for a 3rd single as the focus track when they release the album. |

I can see this going back to number 1 on the hot 100 during album release week. Espresso seems like it peaked in most areas already and radio will probably start dropping it by August.

136 in total out of 169 stations . some stations slow to add it with Espresso at #1 and still gaining in spins and Feather which just dropped out of the top 10 last week. |

I honestly kinda have started to understand why some people hate radio. This isn't even top 10 yet when it was a huge deal everywhere for weeks now. By the time airplay peaks everyone else will probably be burned out on the song (not to mention Sabrina could and should drop a third single when the album drops).

I agree with you, but do most radio listeners now a days care about the latest thing? The few friends I have that listens to radio are just looking for something they’re familiar with. However I’m in my mid/late 40’s and that seems to be the age people just want familiar music to listen to so I could be way off. |
