Yeah I don't quite get it. Please still hasn't really grown on me while espresso was instantaneous

Espresso's run reminds me of that of bad guy by Billie, where it debuts in April and sticks around in the top 10 but doesn't go #1 until August despite feeling like a #1 the whole time.

I feel like the song's country-ish sound combined with the fact that country music is currently having a massive commercial boom is probably the reason why it's outperforming "Espresso" right now.

Both Bad Guy and Espresso came out during some of the craziest boom times in pop music in recent memory. Had Espresso come out and had the same strength last year it'd have been an easy #1, unless Morgan's mediocre megasmash had enough strength to keep it off the top.
