Yeah, I'd think they'd be lucky for a Top 10 spot ... and that's on Post's name alone. I realistically think debuting in the 20s is more likely (maybe I'm being too pessimistic, but Blake Shelton is not a hitmaker, especially in the streaming era. All his Hot 100 hits are greatly fueled by country airplay.)

I don't see how it blows up at country without Morgan. Maybe a slow climb/crossover situation

There is no doubt Morgan helped fuel the song but Post Malone "country" has at the same time been pretty well received and opened him up to new fans and his existing fans to a new light. So the Blake song could be pretty big... it will just depend on the song itself, promotion behind it, etc.

The Blake Shelton song simply isn't as poppyboppy as IHSH so that in itself is a huge factor. IHSH likely would have done well even without Morgan Wallen due to that huge anthemic end chorus which was trending everywhere on TikTok and Shazam, while this one from what I can tell hasn't been.

I expect a debut around top 15 or maybe top 10 if Post's new audience exposure has been effective, but IHSH will continue to reign at the top with some challenge from Sabrina. It should lock more weeks at #1 when Post's album releases regardless, probably in July

It would not have been. I think it would've performed better than Circles out of the gate for sure because the general public has slowly gone back to care for him. But Post was #1 recently because of Taylor and Morgan, not because of him.

Streaming would have been decent, but not as amazing for Post without Morgan. Just see Moneybagg Yo's streaming numbers for his new album released today. Morgan is featured on one of his 15 songs. The Morgan feature is #31 on AM. The next song from Moneybagg's album is #151 on AM. That's a drastic difference clearly fueled by Morgan. It was similar with Post, though there was for sure more interest by the general population in Post as a country artist.

Then you have the airplay component. Morgan Wallen is quite literally the only artist (maybe also Luke Combs) who can send a song flying up the Country airplay charts. Most songs take months (some even closer to a year) to reach the Top 10 of the Country airplay chart.

You then have to consider solidified country artists do well with sales. Of course sales don't mean much nowadays, but it can make the difference. Again, we just have to look at Moneybagg Yo's new song with Morgan. There's only 2 Moneybagg Yo's songs on the iTunes Top 200. Both are "Whiskey Whiskey" with Morgan Wallen. One is at #6, the other is at #139.

If Post did not have Morgan, I think the song would've debuted decently and grown but it would not have been a #1 straight out of the gate, nor had 4 weeks straight at #1.

Morgan will have a long career because he has a very large (especially young) and loyal fan base likes Taylor Swift.They always did a lot for their fans. Morgan, for example, stays 15 minutes at the end of each concert to sign autographs. Not all singers do this.

I agree that IHSH without Morgan have no chance to get #1 in first months. Posty never had giant debuts even in his prime. Before Fortnight debut, three of four his #1s have 10+ weeks in top 10 before reaching a peak. Only rockstar doing that in fourth week.
But I think this question is about all chartrun and this one is hard to predict.

In addition to IHSH airplay run, this track reached the airplay peak in the same amount of days as Easy On Me and Shape Of You according to kworb data. So, looks like its second-fastest climb (after Flowers) to #1 since June 2016 if I haven't missed anything.
