I agree it might be a little late and she totally should have done it one or even two months ago, but it's my favorite song on the album so I ain't exactly complaining and am just happy it's finally becoming a single!

I suppose it's possible. The TOTC estimate showed a debut somewhere below #75 but falling out of the top 200 on day 2 isn't great

A mistake in what sense? I mean singles are typically pushed to help the album sell and TTPD is selling like hotcakes and will cross 5 million domestically next week without an active huge hit propelling it; theoretically she could release anything at this point just to maintain and the album is going to be fine. None of the songs are likely to re-peak their debut ranking, so at this point it's merely about maintenance. While "ICDIWABH" has around 300 million streams it still has plenty of room to grow with radio play and honestly, in terms for radio, "ICDIWABH" is one of their strongest options.

This is why over the past few years ive took the charts way less seriously. Every now and again you'd get a song that felt huge but was low on the year end chart (Like Rude Boy in 2010), but this year it feels like 11-20 on the predicted year end match the year more than 1-10. I mean lose control at number one? That songs just pure radio filler.

A Bar Song (Tipsy)'s streams, particularly on spotify, are extremely unstable.

on saturday, sunday, and monday it tanked in streams, then magically recovered on tuesday, rising each day for the rest of the tracking week by significant amounts.

you would expect it to end with 14.1M streams for the week based on the monday update, but it ended with 15.4M, which is about 9 points alone from Spotify.










then you take a look at this current saturday, and it's magically rising. watch it randomly tank hard on sunday/monday.

Other than Espresso I see very little conversation around the other tracks, especially outside of chart watchers discussing. The Drake beef is still getting quoted on award and TV shows and social media. And Espresso is... Espresso.
