Hopefully the new Gambino album spawns some hits… also surprised he’s actually dropping something on a Friday.

It's fairly predictable that whenever they both drop new albums, Kendrick will do alright if he keeps the not that commercial route of his last album but nothing to be impressed at while Drake will do great in comparison to everyone else but continue his diminishing returns.

I believe both to be past their peaks. I'd give Kendrick a decent shot to surprise because it feels like he hasn't catered to what audiences would play on a loop for a while and he might get the itch for that after smashing with this one off track. But that's entirely up to him.

Drake is creatively stuck and has been for a while imo, I don't think he'll surprise unless he massively overhauls his producing team and his writing partners to bring something fresh; that's unlikely if he keeps getting great numbers as he has so far with every release because they somehow validate his chosen direction.

I think both have secured a bad for life and do not need to prove much at this stage tho.

Looks like 6 day stream total is 91,973,513.  I think he should just crack 100 mill for the week.

It's a really bad hold. I'll be shocked if there are even enough songs to warrant a week 2 chart

It seems overall 100 million weekly streams isn't that bad? It was obviously more front loaded but looking into it, he was only 11 million streams off from Ariana Grande so it doesn't seem that bad for someone with a nearly 30 year career

Happy to see Billie's "Birds of a Feather" back to its peak of #2 on spotify! I wonder if it keeps going as is if it'll be able to get to #1? It's also top 50 on overall radio now too - hoping radio will pick up a bit. I hope her team release a music video to boost streaming numbers in the next few weeks. I can see it being a nice long-running top 5 hit on the Hot 100 once its radio catches up.

Also up to #23 on Apple Music. Did peak at #20 on Apple Music before the Eminem album bomb so hoping it'll manage to re-peak or get a new peak there. It was #45 on the Hot 100 last week. It looks like it'll fall a bit with the Eminem album bomb, but I can see the week after rising into the top 40. Especially if it continues to get new peaks on spotify. I hope Megan releases a music video for the song to boost its streaming and secure a Top 40 placing on the Hot 100!

Total Weekly Streams for Chappell Roan - The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess [6/14]: 30,273,796

Not Like Us stays on top for a sixth total week and while it's peaked, it still had an insane hold of 2.52%. The rest of the Top 5 isn't anything to write home about although Good Luck, Babe! reaches a new peak of #5 despite a miniscule gain of 3.58%. Then rebounding back into the Top 10 with a mammoth gain of 68.97%, Houdini lands at #10 and is still poised to be the only hit from this new Eminem album.

Someone who did not have a good week was Zach Bryan as it just seems outside of the two big singles, The Great American Bar Scene won't have much staying power on the charts. Oak Island and The Way Back collapsed by 43.12% and 35.61% respectively. Better Days dropped 29.63% and American Nights fell by 27.27% but 28 actually had a solid hold despite falling out of the Top 10 with only a 9.44% decrease, showing there's at least some interest for that song. Meanwhile, Tough fell back a bit by 19.27%.

Tobey also reached a new peak on technically its second week, being up 28.84% in streams. Overall, Eminem did score an impressive 103M debut which sounds great...but seeing as how this album continued to have big drop after big drop in the dailies, it looks like this is going to be a frontloaded album.

We sawBesides Eminem debuting, Ice Spice caught a new viral hit thanks to working with Central Cee, Kesha's new song charted in the lower regions after being a mid-week debut, Charli XCX had another song from BRAT go viral, and Sevdaliza and Pabllo Vittar finally crossover for the first time onto the US Charts which is great for them. All the while Katy Perry is a LOSER as the woman who willingly worked with a rapist saw her big comeback, WOMAN'S WORLD, not even last 2 days on the chart. We also saw gains for I Can Do It With A Broken Heart as it starts its official singles push, 360 reach new peaks, and Ain't No Love in Oklahoma rebound a bit as it prepares from a boost from Twisters this weekend.
