Listening to Post's album. He's for sure going to have a semi-album-bomb. I think the album might also easily crack 200k.

^ I agree, i can see it becoming a streaming giant without much effort. We might even be looking at a 10+ week #1.

Gaga's airplay history doesn't predict that but Bruno has always strong support so this might go pretty far.

yall tripping lol. the gaga and mars song will not debut at top 5, might not even at top 10.
the posty album is easily doing 250k-300k, will probably block sabrina next week. shes at most debuting at 150k, potentially 80k.

The new Post Malone album is really good. The Lady Gaga/Bruno Mars collab is also really good.

Silk Sonic's Leave the Door Open debuted at #4 so it's definitely not out of the question. We'll see.

Gracie Abrams debuted 89k, Sabrina is not debuting at 80k. Half of Gracieβs units were from physicals iirc. There is currently no reasonable signs to suggest that Sabrina or any of the recently debuted/taken off acts to have the ability to sell 40k or more physicals. Gracie is just a unique case, an industry plant with a powerful dad backing her. Sabrina might pull up to 60-80k SEAs, but if her physicals are where a modern day act are expected to Sell (20k), then she very well could very well debut less than 100k. And even if she were to overperform and rack up to 150k, that is still possibly under the range of Postβs second week.

People really think Postβs gonna sell 100K+ in the 2nd week and Sabrina less than 100k?

I like the Bruno and Gaga song as much of the next guy, but I really doubt it hits number one - I Had Some Help seems like it should make it to me. It's still near 300 points and it should get a solid boost from the album

I have no idea where a Bruno/Gaga duet stands commercially in this current climate. But come on, the song has massive potential. It's well crafted and has an undeniably timeless quality and a very obvious universal appeal. If you can't look past track-records and trends and see that, well, that's the real delusion IMO.

Gaga/Brunoβs song is well crafted. It doesnβt really matter if it βsounds like whatβs popular currentlyβ especially when we are talking about Bruno and his entire shtick now has become the nostalgic timeless throwback sound that isnβt really modern. Were Uptown Funk, Leave The Door Open, and Thatβs What I Like popular sounds at the time either?
This song is very radio friendly, Gaga/Bruno have decent sized fan bases and are still midly relevant Pop stars, AND itβs going to be included (or associated somewhat) in the upcoming Joker movie if Iβm not mistaken?
It can debut pretty high even if not #1, and also maybe even repeak if it is indeed tied to the Joker movie once that hits theaters in October. We just saw what Deadpool did for music so theatrical boosts canβt be ruled outβ¦.

Seems a bit extreme to say Gagaβs music career is in the toilet. She hasnβt released much of anything since Chromatica, and that had a #5 and #1 hit. Hold My Hand did poorly, but it was also very out of sync with any current musical trends. And Bloody Mary went randomly viral with no effort from her.
Iβm not sure how the Bruno duet will do, but she seems to be at a similar career point as Miley Cyrus, where the right song could be huge but she could just as easily flop.

Thoughts on whether Post's album release will send I Had Some Help back to #1 this week, especially since Shaboozey is starting to lose streams and spins. Or, you think they're too far apart in points?
Gaga / Bruno don't appear on AM's Top 200, yet (though it is #1 on iTunes for what it's worth). I know it's tough since they haven't released in a while, but how's their streaming on AM generally?

^On the latter point, the song just entered at #166 at Apple Music. Regarding IHSH it is back at #1 there as well. I don't think the point gap between it and Shaboozey can't be overcomed, but I would think it will depend on how big a boost, especially in streaming the former gets overall for the week.

Her last album went #1 is Platinum certified and had a #1 and Top 5 single. Her project right before that had a #1 single as well. Maybe you're thinking of artists whose latest efforts fail to break the Top 50. OT: I think #1 for Die With A Smile is out of the question for debut week because of I Had Some Help but a Top 10 debut with some longevity is likely.

Obviously that user is a known troll and her music career isn't in the toilet, as she still commands a high degree of relevance and industry respect. But her career as a pop star has been on life support for a decade now (as it's clearly not her focus anymore). Chromatica performed pretty poorly coming off of the giant hype she had from A Star Is Born. This collab is a good choice for her, the public wants this version of Gaga not electro-pop Gaga.
