So are SCUs officially a thing now? Where the hell did this all come from? Feather clambered its way up to #1 and suddenly radio decided to make Sabrina its 2024 queen. Makes you wonder what would have happened if Tate hadn't given up after Exes, considering how much bigger Greedy was than Feather. Unpopular opinion probably (or maybe not since she’s not very popular lol), but Tate’s music so far just hasn’t really been it as far as being a mega pop star goes. They’re fine little bops, but rather forgettable overall. Greedy definitely feels much more reminiscent to Feather (which wasn’t some mainstream breakthrough smash) then it does any of these SNS singles (which very much are mainstream breakthrough sounding smashes). Greedy was huge but it sort of came and went, Tate feels like a faceless artist and there's no discernible artistic or vocal identity. She doesn't really have the "it" factor tbh (or at least not yet). |

Something in this chorus constantly reminds me of "New Romantics". It's in the pre-chorus I think cause I keep singing them interchangeably. lol
