so to sum up the big gotcha onto my ultra-early prediction: i was off by ~50k on SEAs and absolved from the physical predictions, lol.

To quote you - "sabrina will do less than 80k" no streaming equivalents nor physical units were cited along with that post nor the post you responded to. You were not off by around 50,000 units.  You were around at the MINIMUM 250,000 units off with your prediction. 

This vinyl variant you speak of also did NOT come out on the 1st day of her tracking week, it was released a week prior and was available for pre-order on August 16. So no, that did not bolster sales during the week.

You also said in your original predictions "she ain’t gonna sell 50k physicals" when prior to the digital version rush, was expected to do around 150k in those alone. I doubt she sold much if very little of digital versions prior to Thursday. So another prediction that was around 100,000 units off.

You said "sabrina is not getting anywhere past 80k SEAs, probably less than 80k total" meanwhile it was predicted to do around 167k in streams alone, so another prediction of yours that was nearly 90,000 units off. 

The fact that you were even so bold to even tell other users you had bookmarked their predictions to eventually prove them wrong and now are deflecting these exact predictions is actually insane. You posted it, own your shit and admit you were in the wrong. None of this other stuff you are saying even matters because you acted so defensively and aggressive to other users for so long. Nobody would even care if you weren't such a terrible presence on this site.

1) i have never said sabrina will do ONLY 80k across both formats. i very specifically noted her SEAs and pures could be different. i have dug through my own comment history regarding this (you are more than welcome to verify it yourself), and the first time i commented on this was:

"sabrina 90-150k depending on her physicals" and the very last time i commented on this was

"Sabrina might pull up to 60-80k SEAs, but if her physicals are where a modern day act are expected to sell..."



so yes, in this instance, you are in fact incorrect, i did not give a "80k total only" figure. on the SEAs format, i was only off by 70k ish depending on the billboard final numbers. Being off by  70k ish, is not that much.

firstly: yes, i was indeed WRONG about when her vinyl was made available. i thought it was last friday when it had in fact been posted 2 fridays ago. apparently my last 2 weeks had went by too quick to recall this properly. however, my actual point still stands: my account was timed out on Aug 16th (check my post history. i didnt make another comment after that), so i just had no way of updating my pure sales predictions.

i mean, what do you think my words  "There is currently no reasonable signs to suggest" means? it means i would update my predictions based on any signs i see. that vinyl was the sign. i just didnt get to post it. i am absolutely positively absolved from any "errors" from the physical units side of my prediction.



so again: factually speaking,  i was only 50-70k off on the SEA predictions depending on billboard figures (90k if u really wanna push it), and factually speaking: i was absolved on the physical predictions, and my original, pre-vinyl figures has yet  to be been proven wrong. (it'll be proven correct if her vinyls stands at 70k).

i was in fact, not off by "MINIMUM 250,000" or even 100k. like you said. i was off by 70k or so, and that is not a big deal. the fact that i am a good predictor is unchanged.

2. if you have an issue with how good my prediction ability is, then surely you’d see I was literally 100% in point with post Malone, and if you dig up my older posts you’d see I was correct about chapel’s numbers, Eminem’s SEAs, Kanye’s numbers etc. I was even correct when during the debut day of TTPD I doubted this would have good longevity because of how slow tempo it is & every (I think including Mayman) was saying “I must be trolling” cus TTPD was breaking records deft and right.

so with all that taken into consideration, you would still have an issue with the fact I am good at these predictions stuff?

Your prediction on Sabrina's numbers did not come to fruition. You were very, very wrong--not remotely close. And that's ok, you're not going to be right every time.
