I like this.
I really like the chorus.
I do have a decent amount of his work, but don’t really stan him so I’m not really sick of this sound from him.
It also seems like it may be a grower for me.

There's a theory floating around right now that in all 3 albums he has to relive the same car crash that killed him, the crash in Blinding Lights is how he dies. He then relives it again in Gasoline mv and then has to relive it again in the DITF mv. That's why the DITF video mirrors the Blinding Lights video. |

Acoustic version is definitely the superior version of the track, Abel has never sounded better. No reverb on his voice and his belts are just insane.

I still don’t like his vocals on this song, but they’re so much better suited for the acoustic version than the original instrumental. Also, I love that they released the acapella and instrumental right after I released my mashup of it with filtered files 😂

I wanna see this pull a "Bad Habits" where it opens mediocrely, people assume it's a failure, only to then turn ultimately into a hit because I love this (but then again, I will never tire of the 80s sound). The acoustic version is even better and sooo what I needed! I'm so over people not ever being here for a good ballad!

It's starting to stabilize on streaming after cratering the past couple days, it moved up 30-26 today on US Spotify and gained about 200k streams, meanwhile it's holding steady at #22 on Apple Music. It's not totally over yet, he performs at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Vegas on Saturday so expect more ears to be on the song.
