Gonna be tuning in to my pop station tonight at release to see if it premieres immediately, I remember he's done it a couple times (Heartless, Take My Breath, Sacrifice).

I'm imagining this is going to have a huge debut on Pop. My station is advertising that they're playing one of his biggest hits every hour all day today to hype people up for the premiere tomorrow (and it appears most other big iHeart stations like KIIS, Z100, etc. are as well from their playlists). I can't remember any other instance of stations doing a big promotion like that before the premiere even happens.

(For those curious, it appears the "biggest hits" they're playing each hour are "Earned It," "Can't Feel My Face," "The Hills," "Heartless," "Blinding Lights," "Save Your Tears" and "Die for You.")

Out Of Time deserved better . anyway this has a very 80's synth sound like alot of his other hits . song sounds good but he has done better.

Doesn’t necessarily mean that it is a bad thing. I’ll take 100 Weeknd songs like this than having to hear overplayed snoozefest Die For You again. If it works then it works.

Idk, this is really dull to me overall. The first verse is absolutely phenomenal (though far too short) and feels like it’s setting up something epic, just for the rest of the song to be… there. Maybe it’s a grower, but feels like a song that would’ve never seen the light of release on After Hours with all those huge smashes.

This is a style that works for Weeknd. IMO the style of Earned It, Call Out My Name, Die For You, heck dare I say it, maybe even The Hills, do not work for Weeknd IMO at least in my opinion. So yea, I definitely like his upbeat synth style.

Yeah, it’s kind of boring to be honest. I expected more from the instrumental, and his vocals aren’t the best. The drums at the end of the bridge feel like they’re building up to a big last chorus and then.. it’s just the same as all the others. I can’t see it doing much, to be honest

Immediately what came to my mind when i heard the chorus.

The song is just alright, it's more of the same thing but it's pleasant enough.
