I wonder how many hits in the 2020s have been albumless. It feels like 2024 has quite a few with Not Like Us, Million Dollar Baby and Lovin On Me. WAP and UP still waiting on an album four years later lol And for no particular good reason. I feel like Cardi just can't focus enough to cook a body of work anymore. And to be fair a lot of IoP was done pressured by the need to deliver it before her pregnancy got her out of the game for several months. |

Hope Billie can put out a remix or something and knock Shaboozey off the top. Wonder if she still has Bieber's number... Honestly this is the one time I feel like her calling Lana del Rey would yield a solid remix creatively. (The Bieber mix of bad guy is horrendous and it didn't even end up netting the #1 peak for the song - at the end it was LNX finally going down a bit while Billie dropped some cassettes). The remix had millions of streams that definitely were needed to give the song its small margin of victory. Even if it wasn't the majority of streams like the homophobia infused levitating remix |

If Billie does a remix with Lana for a Hit Me track it 100% needs to be Wildflower since I have always maintained that the main inspo for that song has to be Lana’s Yosemite. Tons of vibes of that in the melody/production, and we all know Billie is a hardcore Lana stan.

I would love a Hayley Williams remix for BOAF if we were gonna get one. Though not sure how much that would help the purpose of getting the #1.

Is it possible Timeless could leg it to #1 at this point? Or is A Bar Song too far a head? with Dancing In The Flame's first-week airplay numbers it would've a chance, but #2 or #3 debut is still impressive, #1 on AM and Spotify for 5 days now definitely exceeded my expectations. |

I would be shocked if the Durkio x Kai Cenat x Speed song did not debut at #1. These streamers are some of the biggest stars in the world in 2024. Well, it's possible. But Playboi Carti has some enormous cult of followers and I'm surprised all his songs aren't going to #1 tbh. So I don't think it's guaranteed even if you are superstar streamers. They'll probably still need to promote it tons and for the song to grab people's attention (either by being really good, becoming a meme, etc.). |

Really hope Billie can get a week at #1 with "BIRDS OF A FEATHER". They also really need to start pushing "WILDFLOWER" to radio.
US leg of the tour starts today so fingers crossed we'll see big boosts across streaming platforms for her over the coming days in the US! Imagine she has "BIRDS OF A FEATHER" and "WILDFLOWER" top 5 on the Hot 100 at the same time? *_*

well birds has zero days topping us spotify. and hasn't cracked the top 3 of Streaming Songs yet. so there's no reason for it to be on top. three-week Streaming #1 taste, on the other hand... For example, a song is #4 on streaming and it's 100k streams away from the #1, it's #1 on sales and airplay. and just because it's not in the top 3 on streaming, it's not worthy of a #1 place? and @ Envoirment literally said "Really hope Billie can get a week at #1" and not why isn't BOAF #1? Stats are fun, but feel free to get out of the stats box sometimes, it's also fun. |

but i can't think of an example of a song that's #1 in sales/airplay and peaks outside the streaming top 3 anyway.
