60) Sheryl Crow - Strong Enough (I balked at this at first because it never reached #1 on the pop chart and I thought it did) 56) Meat Loaf - I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That) 55) Backstreet Boys - I Want It That Way 52) Madonna - I'll Remember ulij20 got #53 correct. insect, you got#55 and #52. You both, well, went in the wrong direction with #60 (it wasn't strong enough). For #56, I'm looking for a shorter title.

54. En Vogue - My Lovin' ??? And, #54 is down. That leaves #60, #56, and #51.

60) Weak/SWV
56) I'd Lie For You (And That's The Truth)/Meat Loaf(?)
And actually, I think that the Backstreet Boys sophomore album was the one that contained hits like "As Long As You Love Me" and "I'll Never Break Your Heart" (title escapes me at the moment). Because in 1995, they had a song called "We've Got It Goin' On". Not sure which album it was from, though.

Now, you've gotten the hang of it. ;) 56) I'd Lie For You (And That's The Truth)/Meat Loaf(?) Nope. Definitely not Meat Loaf at all. The artist I'm thinking of has already made a couple of appearances on the chart. The title, as I said, is shorter...three words. Really? I thought that was their first album. In that case, let's go with the album that I thought was their second album, but may have been their third.

56) Alanis Morissette - Head Over Feet ??? Nope. That artist hasn't appeared on the chart (yet, anyway). But it is a female artist, I'll give you that.

56) Whitney Houston - I Have Nothing If that last prod didn't do it, I figured nothing would. ;) The only one left to answer is a little bit of #51. After that, you can move on to the next five: 50. When this artist started acting, she had to alter her name to avoid getting confused with another actress of the same name. 49. This became the second-highest debut ever on AT40, back when Shadoe was counting them down. It blasted onto the chart all the way up at #4. 48. What's bound to happen when the coefficient of friction is zero. 47. Probably the most repetitive one-word title you'll find on the chart. 46. More strange math -- A superhero and his sidekick plus a singer/songwriter from up north results in...well, this hit.

#50, #48, and #47 are good. You're on the right track with #46 but not quite. And there's still #51 and #49.

49. Mariah Carey - I'll Be There Correct. We just need #46 and #51. The answer that was guessed for #46 was close but not quite there. For #51, just a little bit of a hint is all you need for you to get it (just a little bit...why do I keep saying that?).

46. Jewel - Foolish Games Correct. We still need #51. It's a song that Monica might like...and Rita...Sandra too. Next Five: 45. If you're turning somersaults, you're probably in this sort of motion. 44. I guess only the guys are included... 43. adj. Marked by or constituting the use of words to suggest the opposite of what they literally mean. 42. Man, this song spent bloody ages on the A/C chart...bloody ages, I say. 41. R&R's top song of 1994...depending on which chart you use.

Number 51 isn't "Ooh Aah...Just A Little Bit" by Gina G, is it?
BTW, if anyone wonders what the highest debut ever on AT40 is, it's "Erotica" by Madonna. Back in the fall of 1992, the song came roaring onto the chart all the way up at number two. Quite ironically, it never went to number one. It's one of several songs by her that came and went within two months.

Number 51 isn't "Ooh Aah...Just A Little Bit" by Gina G, is it? Well, the song I'm looking for shares a part of that same title (or is it sub-title). I figured that the names I dropped (which are in the lyrics) would have been a dead giveaway.

I forgot that "A Little Bit" was the subtitle. I generally call that song just plain "Mambo #5."
