So since I've never done one of these "guessing-game" type countdowns before, I thought I'd give it a shot. Thus, I present my 1990s Decade-End chart. This is based on chart performance for my version of the pop chart. It's, certainly, not a scientifically accurate chart (as it only covers songs that went to number 1), but I felt that it was sufficient enough to tabulate what the biggest hits of the decade might be. The vast majority of the list were number 1 hits from either R&R's pop chart or Billboard. Others were songs that ended up hitting the top of my chart. The full listing generated 181 songs, so the songs that missed the chart are:
181 Technotronic featuring Felly - Pump Up The Jam 180 Seduction - Two To Make It Right 179 Prince - Thieves In The Temple 178 Roxette - Dangerous 177 C+C Music Factory - Here We Go (Let's Rock And Roll) 176 Rod Stewart - Rhythm Of My Heart 175 Heart - All I Wanna Do Is Make Love To You 174 Bryan Adams - Can't Stop This Thing We Started 173 Rod Stewart - Downtown Train 172 M.C. Hammer - U Can't Touch This 171 Tommy Page - I'll Be Your Everything 170 Michael Bolton - How Am I Supposed To Live Without You 169 Janet Jackson - Black Cat 168 Jon Bon Jovi - Blaze Of Glory 167 Janet Jackson - Come Back To Me 166 U2 - One 165 Guns 'N Roses - November Rain 164 George Michael - Praying For Time 163 Roxette - Joyride 162 Alannah Myles - Black Velvet 161 Nelson - (Can't Live Without Your) Love And Affection 160 Jesus Jones - Right Here, Right Now 159 Timmy T. - One More Try 158 Paula Abdul - The Promise Of A New Day 157 Wilson Phillips - You're In Love 156 Jane Child - Don't Wanna Fall In Love 155 Gloria Estefan - Coming Out Of The Dark 154 Madonna - Deeper And Deeper 153 Cathy Dennis - Touch Me (All Night Long) 152 Sweet Sensation - If Wishes Came True 151 Whitney Houston - I'm Your Baby Tonight
Now, on with the top 150! Here's the first 10 clues. Good luck!
150. The name of this group describes an above-the-head hand-slapping, a gesture used to celebrate victories.
149. "Epsom Mad Funkers" or "Ecstasy Mother F**kers" -- this group could go either way.
148. Deborah Cox recently released a cover of this song.
147. The title of this song might describe what you'd say if you were without a vital blood-pumping organ.
146. Biggest hit of the decade for this Clivilles and Cole collaboration.
145. The final number 1 of the 80s...and the first number 1 of the 90s.
144. Fun Factory made R&R's year-end chart with a song of the same name, but that song didn't make the top 40.
143. Top 5 hit from this singer/songwriter's last pop album. He has, since, turned his attention to creating classical music.
142. Cover of a big Jim Steinman penned hit.
141. One of the first videos banned from MTV due to it's objectionable sexual content.

145 is "Another Day in Paradise" by Good old Phil Collins Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner. 147, 146, and 144 are left. I'll throw in a few more, though: 140. Not the last time, but... 139. Whether intentional or not, this single was quickly released as a follow-up to "Gett Off". It seems that this artist had a one-track mind. 138. The last chart topper for this huge late-80s boy band.

146 - "Gonna Make you Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)" by C&C Music Factory.. 144 - Maxi Priest - "Close to you" (??) That was quick! Down to #147 from the first batch. Here's another hint on that: This artist is known for a couple of big duets that your most likely to hear on A/C these days.

Hey, we're all caught up now. Next:
137. First of two songs on the chart for this vocal trio comprised of offspring of members of popular 60s acts.
136. First of three songs from the 90s biggest movie soundtrack.
135. Only new song from this male Canadian artist's 1993 greatest hits collection.
134. Biggest hit for a guy who's related to someone in one of the above groups. He hasn't recorded music in some time. Preferring, instead, to concentrate on his acting career.
133. The only "a capella" song to top the chart in the 90s.
132. The only chart topper for Leslie Wonderman.
131. This song's video was interspersed with photos of missing children. Several were found as a result.

I must be making these too easy. ;)
All correct except #137. Keith got the right act but the wrong song. The next five:
130. Five years after this hit, this group's frontman took over the vocal duties for an even bigger rock act.
129. The polite response to this song is, "your welcome".
128. One of two songs on this chart that share this three word title. While the second of the two spells out the second word, this one uses a number.
127. This act's name might be associated with tender loving care. Their first top 10.
126. One of several chart hits associated with the long running Beverly Hills 90210.

137.Wilson Philips - Hold On Yes. Still missing 130 and 126. A couple more to spice things up: 125. My name is not Susan...at least that's what this artist proclaimed in one of the follow-ups to this song. 124. If you want to remain happy and smiling, then you'd probably say this.

130) Extreme - More Than Words 126) Vanessa Williams and Brian McKnight - Love Is Yes and yes. In addition to the already posted clues for 125 and 124, might as well complete the set of five: 123. The power of three -- This song hit the chart three times in three consecutive decades, but by three different artists. 122. This popular actress and dancer kicked off her singing career with this song. 121. The last of the two songs from this vocal trio...just let it go.
