I'm looking forward to their new material. I hope there's a little more variety on this sophomore debut.

I'm really looking forward to this! I'm one of the few who actually loved their first album and didn't find it boring or thought that they completely sucked.

Another one of my most anticipated album this year - along with Linkin Park and Yellowcard. I wonder if they'll continue with that Cure-esque vibe of their last album, or if they'll venture toward something different, maybe less dramatic and more energetic/upbeat, like Plus-44? To all AVA haters perusing this thread....1) I hate you guys, I really do. 2) I can't wait to prove you wrong with another successful album. To the top, AVA!!!!

I wouldn't want an album full of "It Hurts". I want something more along the lines of "The War".

Second time just like the first time? I'm excited about the album but not about Tom's delusions of grandeur.

I don't even know where to begin with any of this. Wow. Just wow. Second time just like the first time? Ludacris was Back for the First Time. I'd explain why, but that's not the important part.

Maybe another top five single (which, oh by the way, outpeaked "Bat Country"). Two more top 30 singles (both of which outpeaked "Beast And The Harlot" and "Seize The Day"). Maybe outselling A7X's next album. Why don't you "Do It For Me Now" and just admit...admit that AVA is a better abbreviation than A7X. It's on! "The Adventure" is on! "The War" is on!

What is with you two, you're like barbarians battling each other for land. Which is my way of saying you're both silly.
BTW, Avenged Sevenfold went platinum so it doesn't matter what peak they had compared to the gold-selling AVA.

Um, why are you dragging Avenged Sevenfold over into this topic? And I can't believe I'm even taking this asinine bait, but "x" is a multiplication symbol. Seven-fold = Seven-times = 7X. What the hell does a "v" have anything to do with the word "and"? It aesthetically fills the space between two capital A's, but doesn't abbreviate "and."

AVA sounds like the name of an American Idol contestant. A7X is cooler and makes sense.

Second time just like the first time? I'm excited about the album but not about Tom's delusions of grandeur. God, I can't believe I wrote that LMAO. Cut me some slack just this one time though since when I posted that last night I had been up for basically 36 hours straight and flew to another part of the country where I still unfortunately am.

I'm so excited about this, there first album was so underrated (maybe if Tom had just shut his mouth and let the album speak for itself people wouldn't have had ridiculously high expectations) and I'm sure they will only get better. I think they still have a lot to offer and the title makes me think there continuing with that dreamy/spacy sound which is what I loved most about their debut.

I like this band but I wish +44 got as much attention. Mark is such a better frontman than Tom.

It just makes me want to write "cosmonaut" on a huge piece of cardboard paper, and then take it out to the woods in a really remote location, and then stomp all over it and burn it. Cosmonaut. Mark is such a better frontman than Tom. Disagree. Not sure when it became "chic" to loathe and despite a band whose singer happened to get a little cocky. Not sure what you're looking for in a front man, but Tom blows Mark away in terms of star power and charisma - two very important qualities to frontmen, at least in my opinion. You're wrong. Who's the jackass in the bushes now?

Who's the jackass in the bushes now? I don't loathe and despise Tom, I think Mark is a better singer though, and he seems to have more good sense. Enthusiasm is great and expected but Tom borders on lunacy. It was amusing to a point but now I find myself bracing for the next assault. So no, you're wrong. And I can prove it with charts and graphs.

From AbsolutePunk: In a recent Kerrang! article, Angels and Airwaves revealed 5 song titles on their upcoming release, I-Empire. The songs are "Breath", "Sirens", "Everything's Magic", "Star of Bethlehem", and "Secret Crowds."

I believe that was a track that was on another CD...a radio show charity CD?

["I-Empire". I'm not surprised a band like this chose a title like that. It's simply awesome. Or self-indulgent, considering how seriously and self-importantly Tom took his new venture the first time out.

And seriousness and self-importantness dictates style, charisma, and your ability as an artist.
