It's weird because Outkast's pop chart history was not that impressive before "Hey Ya" came along. Now it seems like they wanted "Hey Ya" to immediately go to #1 as well as embracing "The Way You Move" whith "Hey Ya" at the top of the regular and jump chart.

What's the recurrent schedule for the next few weeks starting 12/5?
Kelly Clarkson and Lil Jon & The Eastside Boys wll go recurrent in 4 weeks. They are going into week 17. Kelly probably will not make it. (The week that "Get Low," "Low," and "Baby I Love U!" debuted was the week I started keeping track.
When does Hilary Duff go recurrent? She's been on forever. Which songs inside the Top 20 will go recurrent once they fall below #20?
The only thing

Kelly Clarkson & Beyonce have both been leaped over by Pink!! Pink's gains are back up into the +500's now, Beyonce & Kelly are into the +200's. They even look like they'll get leaped over by Sheryl Crow!! Ha,Ha!! What is up with this "Milkshake" song! All of the sudden a huge take-off after going for adds, this song has been reappearing since the summer but never made it too far. Dido & Fuel are head to head right now, it's great to see them doing well, I think they could be darkhorses for at least Top 15 by January. Could they make Top 10?! They deserve to!

Beyonce & Kelly are into the +200's. They even look like they'll get leaped over by Sheryl Crow!! Ha,Ha!! Nice! Yeah Sheryl... it's good to see her doing well (or at least better than everyone thought she would). While I'm happy that this type of music is doing well, I wish it were Sarah McLachlan and Eve 6 instead Dido and Fuel. I wanted Dido to take off at Pop since the summer, and I got impatient (and tired of the song) and now that she is taking off, I don't really care anymore. Still, it is nice that she's getting recognition... better late than never. But that Fuel song is boring AND in my opinion an slowed down, inferior rip-off of Collective Soul's "Heavy."!

On the latest update, "Suga Suga" is up to number three, but only gaining 163 (or something like that) spins. It is over 1000 points away from #2, which is "Here Without You" and that song's losing only 114 spins from last week. Looks like "Suga Suga" just might run out of gas before hitting #2.

Pink isn't off to a hot start herself. It's not looking good for the Queen of 2002, and it's not looking good for the american idol or the "it girl" either.

Well let's hope that if Baby Bash hits #2, it's in 2004 so we can continue the no-#2 peak streak.
Which one of the current rhythmic songs will do the best at CHR/POP?
Ludacris f/ Shawnna - Stand Up Chingy f/ Snoop Dogg & Ludacris - Holidae In Kelis - Milkshake Outkast f/ Sleepy Brown - The Way You Move
P.S. I think that Beyonce will lose her bullet in 4 weeks at the most. Kelly Clarkson will lose her bullet in 6 weeks (do a little better.) Pink will do the best out of 3, peaking around where her other 2 singles peaked.

I stand by my word that Z100 got "Milkshake" off to a great start and we will see a big hit out of that one. I would love to see it hit #1 on the Hot 100. That would be the most justice done in a long time.

Pink isn't off to a hot start herself. It's not looking good for the Queen of 2002, and it's not looking good for the american idol or the "it girl" either. Considering that this a follow-up to a song with a #17 peak and only 8 weeks on the chart, I'd say Pink is off to a fine start. Beyonce' isn't doing well because this song isn't as pop friendly as the other two. And before you accuse me of "making excuses", please make note that I despise both Pink and Beyonce'.

Oh, that would make me so happy! Plus, Sarah's song is way more pop-friendly than Dido's. I haven't heard Fuel yet, but Eve 6 would be hard to beat.
I agree, I really hope he doesn't become the next Nelly. And he's even more annoying than Nelly which i never thought was possible. And right now Nelly has a pretty good song out right now, "Iz U," and this is the song radio decides to ignore!

What was the chart run of this in the 40-50 range (before it hit the Top 40 the second time)?

Especially Holidae Inn since he's doing all the ClearChannel shows.

I think they're all decent songs! I'm not that familiar with 'Stand Up' yet and 'Holidae In' has an annoying factor to it but I bet 'Milkshake' hits #1 and Kelis becomes the next.... who's an artist that never had a big pop hit but then suddenly comes out of nowhere (as a comeback to music but first real time to pop) and hit #1 and then is all over the place? That's what Kelis will be next year!

Well let's hope that if Baby Bash hits #2, it's in 2004 so we can continue the no-#2 peak streak. Agreed. It's been interesting to not have any #2 peakers in 2003. Which one of the current rhythmic songs will do the best at CHR/POP? Ludacris f/ Shawnna - Stand Up Chingy f/ Snoop Dogg & Ludacris - Holidae In Kelis - Milkshake Outkast f/ Sleepy Brown - The Way You Move I hope Kelis does the best... I think she's got a good shot at top 5. Outkast and Chingy will likely make top 10, and Ludacris likely top 20. P.S. I think that Beyonce will lose her bullet in 4 weeks at the most. Kelly Clarkson will lose her bullet in 6 weeks (do a little better.) Pink will do the best out of 3, peaking around where her other 2 singles peaked. I think they'll keep their bullets a little longer, but not do quite as well as the previous singles (except Pink, who doesn't really have high expectations after her last 2 flops).

.......and these 4 rhythmic songs are on fire just as we thought they the chart was becoming very Hot AC leaning! However, I'm not complaining.....I think the chart has the perfect amount of rhythmic songs...they are what makes the chart so interesting.
The 10-15 rhythmic songs on the chart are the perfect amount - Hey Ya, Baby Boy, Get Low, Shake Ya Tailfeather, Holidae In, Stand Up, The Way You Move, Into You, Deliverance, P.I.M.P., My Love Is Like...Wo, Change Clothers, Damn! (13)......P.S. is F**k It rhythmic? I've never heard it.
I'm surprised how slowly Evanescence is taking off...I just love "My Immortal..." This better be a nice Top 10 follow up to "Bring Me to Life," and should rise fast due to the fact that "Bring Me to Life" has already fallen below 1500 spins (I think)? "Going Under" flopped because or recurrentitis (and that it was just a horrible song.)

.......and these 4 rhythmic songs are on fire just as we thought they the chart was becoming very Hot AC leaning! Ugh! This sucks! Not that Rhythmic songs are doing well, but that these particular Rhythmic songs are. "Holidae In" is among the worst songs of the year. "Stand Up" is much better but still sucks- I hate it! There are many Rhythmic songs I'd rather see do well. Having said that, I do really like "The Way You Move" and I'm glad it's doing well.

Yeah, I have no problem with rhythmic songs as long they are good rhytmic songs. Songs that are not being eaten up because of who is in the song. I'd much rather see songs like "Deliverance" doing well.

Christina's bullet is back up to +307! She is only 50 more spins away from making MB20 backward bullet. She also has a big chance of passing both Britney and Nelly by sunday night, meaning this single will be avoiding the cursed #17 position.

I agree with you on "Holidae Inn." I am a big Rhythmic fan, but I CANNOT stand "Holidae Inn," that much. No offense against Chingy, Snoop, and Ludacris, though. I'll give it about a "C-" because of them and that the beats save the song. This grade is given with most of the songs on the current pop chart making "B's" and "A's," IMO. Chingy's last song "Right Thurr," was more fathomable. I personally think "Holidae Inn" is among the worst Rhythmic songs that I've heard in some time. Something about it makes it so extremely annoying (the girl's "seductive" voice, probably) and I have to give a high five to you on that one, I think it should be ranked as one of the boringest and worst songs of the year. The rapping style on the track seems out of whack, it's not in tune with the background beats. I really don't find it enjoyable. I really hope "The Way You Move," continues to do well. I really love TWYM, it's becoming an obession of mine just like Lil Jon and The Eastside Boyz's "Get Low," did.

Can "Get Low" ever fall? Why are the 3 Doors Down about to regain their bullet??
Today's Update: Outkast reaches 8669 spins, with a bullet back up to +808. (Down in the 700s the past few days)
3 Doors Down down to -4!
Stacie Orrico leaps to #6, No Doubt to #8, with a VERY healthy bullet of +580. I knew Gwen Stefani could do it.
Can Simple Plan make #9 and pass Fountains of Wayne by tomorrow? FOUNTAINS OF WAYNE Stacy's Mom 4871 -956 SIMPLE PLAN Perfect........................4700 +245
Nickelback makes it to #11 this week, and will make Top 10 next week. Liz Phair only rises to #14, due to the fact that Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz just won't fall!!!
Britney Spears better bid her farewells to the Top 20, this week will be her last (unless she falls out this week)
Lower part of the chart:
-Fuel & Dido continue to pick up nicely, bullets over +300 (304 & 3384)
-Top 50 debuters Pink & Sheryl Crow will leapfrog both Kelly Clarkson & Beyonce on their debut week. I want to see how these 4 female singer songs do. Here is my prediction: 1. Sheryl Crow (peak #8) 2. Pink (peak #9) 3. Kelly Clarkson (peak #23) 4. Beyonce (peak #24)
Kelly Clarkson & Beyonce will go hand-in-hand, just liek Maria & Pharrell/Jay-Z did.
What are your predictions?
Kiley, Dashboard, and Evanscence will make Top 50 next week hopefully.

Here is my prediction:
1. Sheryl Crow (peak #17) 2. Pink (peak #12) 3. Kelly Clarkson (peak #28) 4. Beyonce (peak #32)
All this women are out of favor, except Beyonce. And her song is way too ghetto for chr/pop.

I thing "Deliverance" and the Outkast's songs are the only good rhytmic songs on the chart. I hope Sarah McLachlan can make Top 40! I predict Pink could get a top 10 with "God Is A DJ" or maybe pull a "Me Against The Music" and make Top 10, but be taken out by someone else. Sheryl Crow should at least get Top 20. Hopefully the other 2 won't, if Kelly would've released something else maybe it would've been different, "The Trouble With Love" is very boring and bland. I think No Doubt may make #1 after all.

How is "Me, Myself, and I" too "ghetto" for CHR/Pop radio? What do you mean by that? >:(

EEK! What is that funny looking position next to Christina's song? :Barfs: hopefully she survives that position without catching some sort of virus.
