Yes, it's not working at all.
I use it in the Nostalgia forum all the time.

I seriously doubt anyone here has any control over the problem. The correct place to report it is probably the Pro Boards Support forum. There's a link at the bottom of the page, and there's likely a thread already open about it there, since this is almost certainly a problem at other Pro Boards sites.

Yeah, most of the malfunctions are beyond our control. Nearly a month later, server 48 is still the only one that has been upgraded, so perhaps all the problems are why the other servers have yet to be done.

Use this to search for now until the bugs in the upgrade are worked out. Right before click the Search button, make sure you set it to just look within the PMB domain so you just get those results. www.google.com/custom?domains=pulsemusic.proboards48.comThis searching method may not be as good or as easy to use as the ProBoards one, but it generally will get the results. I couldn't find some things at first, but changing up the search terms helped.

When I type in Shelby Lynne, I am getting every post that mentions her. I just want to know where threads are about her.

I don't know of a way to do that, but I would suggest searching with the artist name in those " " symbols and then other things that identify the thread. That could help limit your results.

Has this function died again?
It started working at one point and now it returns no results, whatever you type in.

It pretty much hasn't worked for me at all since the "upgrade".

It seems to be working now.
I was able to do a search for Madonna's Fever at the Nostalgia board.

Wow, lucky you. I still get random results, it's still isn't working like it did last year...

Highlighting the words is pretty useless since no one can ever find what they're looking for.

It works. But, not very well.
I did a search for "Hall Oates I Can't Go For That (No Can Do) in the Nostalgia forum.
It takes out all words less than 3 letters so that left me with "Hall Oates Can't That." It still couldn't find the original thread.

I think it's working fine lately. If:
- you select 'Match whole phrase' when typing in the name you look for - you go back 2000 days or something like that, LOL - you select '100' as maximum results for your search
"Your search terms must each be 4 or more characters long", though. Which is still better than getting random-ass results like in the past year or so.
