It looks like My Happy Ending will be able to gain only 1 spot next week. :( 24-23*
I bet we'll soon see Mis-teeq dropping like a stone and reports surfacing about how juusstt enough airplay was bought to push them barely into the Top 10.
On the other hand, if Mis-teeq lose their bullet, Nina Sky will jump 18-10*. *Horrified expression* Uhhh, go Mis-teeq!

"Everytime" just got its bullet back. I wonder if it will hold off the songs behind her and if "Burn" will drop enough for a #3 peak next week.

"Everytime" just got its bullet back. I wonder if it will hold off the songs behind her and if "Burn" will drop enough for a #3 peak next week. As of today's update, the largely recurrent airplay from Fourth of July weekend moved entirely from this week's numbers to last week's numbers, which is resulting in some inflated bullets and will continue to until next Monday. --DanG

I tried to understand what you wrote but I guess my English is not that good. Fourth of July weekend special airplay shrank a lot of spin counts last week, so this week's bullets are a bit inflated. By next weekend things should be normal again (until Labor Day).

Christina Milians bullet went up to +727. If she gets a #1 I will be in shock. She gets the sleeper of the year award because NOBODY expected for her to be doing so well. Her bullet was down ALOT last week after ebing up in the +600's and now it shot up again by hundreds of spins. this is crazy lol. I am so happy for her. Maybe now Def Jam will Promote her and get her the way she deserves instead of treating her like the unruley step child.

Yes, see that's what I was trying to say in my last post. Apparently, I didn't explain it very well. After four top-40 debuts last week, it looks like there will only be one (Lloyd Banks) this week. --DanG

How is Dip It Low doing so well, that song is absolutely horrible.

That Nina Sky song gets annoying after a while.
I hope "Ch-Check It Out" moves further up the chart, even if it isn't Beastie Boys' best song ("Intergalactic" is better).
I'm surprised to see Christina Milian doing so well. "Dip It Low" is better than "AM to PM" in my opinion.

Just when MHE was getting back up in to the+700's it's taking a huge dive (it only gained 37 spins since yesterday) . . . maybe this won't be a hit like everyone was thinking.

What artists (if any) have had three (or more) consecutive Number 1s and then never make the Top 10 again? Can Avril do that?

Well I dunno, I'm not exactly calling quits on the song yet, but it actually lost 4 spins from the morning to the afternoon update. It could still hit top ten if it rebounds and it definitely could.

I see Avril is haveng the same problem with "Let go" that Alanis had with "Jagged Little Pill". Too much success for a first international album, and she couldn't enjoy that many people with their second album (although is not bad)

Avril has not quite done that. Actually, it could be that she released MHE a bit too soon, as DTM is proving to have at least some staying power.

I think Avril's new material is much more exciting than Alanis's "SFIJ" material. I can completely understand why "Unsent" flopped by Alanis standards. There's no excuse for "My Happy Ending". I guess it's Avril's not so happy ending.

Thanks to MTV's "The Ashlee Simpson Show." LOL! lol yep! Go Nelly! "My Place" is the 3rd greatest gainer at +641 and is at #46. I hope it can make Top 40 by the final update, but it's going to be close. He will probably wind up at #42 at the final update, and his instant impact tag is about to run out, I forget if it first appeared last Friday or Saturday.

I don't understand why "My Happy Ending" isn't blowing up, I mean it isn't over yet, but why is it slowing down? Its one of, if not, best singles and the video is probably her best one. Its super radio friendly, yet radio is choosing not to play it. Just confuse me already!! ???
As for Maroon 5's "She Will Be Loved," I'm not surprise its doing well. Same goes with Black Eyed Peas' "Let's Get It Started."
Like Josh said, with Alanis there's just no excitement. Even more so with her new one.

I hope Yellowcard jumps to a new peak of #12, even if it most likely does so bulletless.

Let's just say that her sales numbers haven't been as big as predicted, which may be causing radio to be very shady about Avril. The record label should be really trying harder, if it still wants it to catch some fire.
