This is her worst album. I dont like one song on it. She really fell off when she left the Neptunes

Trick Me was released in the US and went nowhere but was a success WW along with Millionaire which both got videos. She had the decision of staying on the Star Trak label when Arista folded into Jive. She spoke her piece and said hell no basically. Why what was the issue?

From what I remember, she felt that promises were made and broken and that she wasn't a priority for Pharrell or Star Trak. At one point, she vowed to never work with The Neptunes again.

I see. Too bad. It seems like her career suffered as a result. I wonder what would have happened if she had stayed with them.

I really like 22nd Century and Intro. Not sure if there are any other songs on the album that I like as much though.

I have been listening to this album for days, and it's just pure awesomeness. Indeed. I'm very pleased with this album from Kelis. This is a statement album for her. I had some serious doubts after I didn't warm up to "Acapella" immediately. I love the said track now particularly in context with the remainder of the album. This is a set that works well together and is brief enough that one wants to listen to the album from beginning to end each time.

I'm extremely proud of her and this album because it's very true to the genre and sounds like a natural extension of herself as an artist. That said, I don't understand the huge gap between her international and American release dates. I understand that she may be a more successful star overseas but that doesn't mean that she should neglect her American fan base and allow close to 2 months worth of illegal downloading affect her potential sales. She could establish a whole new fan base here if her team plays the cards right.

I'm really disappointed with this after expecting so much with the positive comments on here. I love Kelis, I love the kind of music she's attempting on Flesh Tone and I loved "Acapella". I still like that one and a few other songs, but trying to listen through was painful. I thought it was actually going to give me a headache at one point. I like "Home", "Brave" and "Scream" the most, but I feel like even they'll grow off me eventually. So disappointing.

Robyn and Kelis to Tour Together In a possibly unprecedented Twitter marketing move, R&B-dance-pop rule breakers Robyn and Kelis announced an upcoming co-headlining tour by-way-of a charmingly staged exchange on the micro message service earlier today. It went something like this: Robyn: hey mama, I'm bored. U feel like doing something? Kelis: Love to. Thinking it'd be fun 2 hit the road together? Robyn: That's what I'M thinking. I got my strobes ready & some new dancing shoes as well. We could do this! Kelis: GLORIOUS! I'll bring the lasers, confetti. Let's do it! Robyn: So what are we calling this madness? My <3's tellin me u got an idea? Kelis: Lets call it "All Hearts." What do you think? Robyn: #allheartstour in the us. heartbrake on all four on top of a speaker in a shower of star dust and acid rain.In old-school language: Kelis and Robyn's All Hearts Tour is set to spread glitter and beats in the United States soon. More info-- including specific dates-- as we get it. Or as they tweet it, I guess. The album debuts at #46 in the UK. They might as well have released it this week in the US too, at least she would have flopped just once. :'( BTW, the second single is "4th Of July", out July 5th in the UK.

To be fair, Tasty was her highest charting UK album (#11). All the others have debuted and peaked in the 40s and below. That said, I thought the genre change would've helped her.
