OMG I'm at work and I can't listen to it!!!! NO!!! That`s a pity! The song is like Mockingbird with some of Sayin` Goodbye to Hollywood thrown into it. It is amazing!

Just heard it on KIIS fm now... It usually takes me a couple of listens before really getting a good hold of a song since I usually listen to the melody/beat first and lyrics second. That said, I REALLY liked it through first listen.

He needs a hit on Urban bad. How can you be a rapper and have rap stations not even touch you're songs? This isn't going to do it for him at all. It's going to do well at Pop at first, and then free fall.

It sucks. I can't believe Eminem fell off. He lost his flow after he battled no-talent ass Benzino. Now he's stuck with this lame ass flow that sounds nothing like he used to. It's a shame, cause for a second, he was one of the best lyricists ever. :(

For The Record: Quick News On Eminem, 11.07.2005 6:39 PM EST Eminem's Curtain Call gets longer; Eminem's Curtain Call just got a little longer. The album will be available in a special two-disc edition that beefs up his collection of greatest hits with a disc devoted to his memorable collaborations. A final track list has yet to be hammered out, but expect to find Em's landmark duet of "Stan" with Elton John in the mix. The set will also feature three new tracks, including the single "When I'm Gone," which you can preview on Monday evening (November 7) on MTV Overdrive. Source: www.mtv.com

It's probably because it's widely agreed that Eminem HAD talent. Just a minor correction.

I'm glad they included "Stan (Live featuring Elton John)." I was hoping they would release that at some point. :)

The best songs are on the bonus CD....
21. Dead Wrong (with Notorious B.I.G.) 22. Role Model 23. Kill You 24. S*it On You (with D12) 25. Criminal 26. Renegade (with Jay-Z) 27. Just Don't Give A F*ck
I guess the bonus CD contains songs that weren't hits, but are fan favorites.

"Superman" was a big hit right? Well I know it was atleast it was bigger than "Like Toy Soldiers".
Kinda reminds me when Britney (Jive) put "Boys" and "Overprotected" on her HITS CD even though "From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart" (which was left off) was a bigger hit. Stop messing up tracklistings record companies!!!

Anyhoo, I'll probably get it.

He probably put "Like Toy Soldiers" on because he needed another song from the Encore era. Otherwise it would be too heavy on the Eminem Show era. There's already 3 Eminem Show tracks on there. I don't see Superman as being much of a fan favorite anyway.

Why are you bringing up Britney Spears in here? That's the same question I asked myself when I heard "Ass Like That"? Britney and her "man shoulders"? That was pretty random and out of no-where, even for Eminem. Anyway, if "Superman" wasn't a fan fave, than I don't know what is. It had no video (other than the one exclusively on 8 Mile DVD) yet still made it to the Top 10 on all 3 main formats I believe. It's his best "sex" song.

Eminem has never shied away from airing his private life in his work, and the video for his new single, "When I'm Gone," is no exception. The clip begins with Em addressing his recent stint in a rehab clinic for dependency on sleep medication (see "Eminem Hospitalized For Sleep-Medication Dependency"). The video, which was directed by Anthony Mandler in Em's hometown of Detroit on November 13 and 14, opens in a large room that resembles a school gym, where adults seated in folding chairs are gathered around a middle-aged man speaking at a podium β the setup is like a Narcotics Anonymous or Alcoholics Anonymous meeting. The man tells the group about how rough the last six years of his life have been, and how he and his wife are happy that he's changed. Eminem, wearing a ball cap that reveals some of his black hair, is one of the people in the crowd.
The leader of the group then asks if anyone would like to share. Em gets up, goes to the podium and says, "My name is Marshall." The rest of the video illustrates the lyrics from the song, including the lines describing how his daughter Hailie put up boxes to block the front door of their home to stop Eminem from leaving to go on tour.
A teaser from the video will be shown on "TRL" on Wednesday (November 23), with the full clip premiering on Monday. Em's greatest-hits LP, Curtain Call β which features "When I'm Gone" β will be in stores on December 6 (see "Slim Shady's Phattest, Brightest Compiled For Eminem Hits LP").

I thought airplay would cool down, but airplay and downloads might shoot up w/ the release of the video. For the fans, I just heard Fack and Shake That. Fack is easily the worst and most embarassing song that Em has ever made. IT pretty much rivals Big Weenie
