The March 1983 charts at this point have been overused. Here is what they went with the past few years, starting in 2020
2020-March 5 (2012 and 2018) 2021- March 26 (2017) 2022- March 19 (2015) 2023- March 5 AGAIN next week which puts this chart in the four times club
February and April are heavily ignored and all charts featured in those months have only been used once
February 5- 2014 February 12- 2019 February 19- 2013 April 2- 2019 April 9- 2014

I’M COMIN’ 22: PERCY SLEDGE - WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN 21: JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE - ALL ALONG THE WATCHTOWER 20: THE 5TH DIMENSION - Medley: AQUARIUS/LET THE SUNSHINE IN (The Flesh Failures) 19: SAM COOKE - ANOTHER SATURDAY NIGHT 18: MEL CARTER - HOLD ME, THRILL ME, KISS ME 17: BEN E. KING - STAND BY ME 16: MARTHA & THE VANDELLAS - DANCING IN THE STREET 15: THE FOUNDATIONS - BUILD ME UP BUTTERCUP 14: SAM & DAVE - SOUL MAN 13: MARVIN GAYE - I HEARD IT THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE 12: THE TOYS - A LOVER’S CONCERTO 11: GENE CHANDLER - DUKE OF EARL 10: ARETHA FRANKLIN - (You Make Me Feel Like) A NATURAL WOMAN 09: THE DRIFTERS - UNDER THE BOARDWALK 08: FOUR TOPS - BABY I NEED YOUR LOVING 07: ETTA JAMES - AT LAST 06: ARETHA FRANKLIN - RESPECT 05: THE TEMPTATIONS - AIN’T TOO PROUD TO BEG 04: LOUIS ARMSTRONG - WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD 03: MARVIN GAYE & TAMMI TERRELL - AIN’T NO MOUNTAIN HIGH ENOUGH 02: THE TEMPTATIONS - MY GIRL 01: OTIS REDDING - (Sittin’ On) THE DOCK OF THE BAY There's a couple of really questionable picks on here imo. I don't doubt Hendrix & Satchmo put a lot of soul into their work, but they're not soul songs, I really don't know who'd vote for those for a soul countdown... Sometime in March, for Women's History March, they'll be doing a countdown of the top 50 songs by female vocalists, once again voted by the 60s Gold listeners. blog.siriusxm.com/female-vocals-of-the-60s/Next week's regular Survey will be going all the way back to 1960!

I was hoping the 70s would air a good show after forgetting to air Wheel of Casey on Thursday. I thought it was a good chart. Some of the songs were kind of mid (including that #1) and I don’t appreciate the butchering of Night Moves, but I thought there were a lot of great songs in there.

Yeah, for the tsunami victims. (Yet another charity release featuring Bono) it was a live recording from that year’s Grammy awards that was released to iTunes, debuting at 22 off the strength of that and (I’m presuming) dropping like a rock right after. Side note: that same ceremony was also responsible for the boost for “Daughters” (that year’s Song of the Year)

Yeah, for the tsunami victims. (Yet another charity release featuring Bono) it was a live recording from that year’s Grammy awards that was released to iTunes, debuting at 22 off the strength of that and (I’m presuming) dropping like a rock right after. Side note: that same ceremony was also responsible for the boost for “Daughters” (that year’s Song of the Year) And Bono received Album of the year.

According to what i've seen on Twitter as of 2/11/23 Wheel Of Casey is still on Thursday nights. So if anything changes it'll probably be posted on the 70's on 7 Twitter page.

Hopefully 90s will go to 1998 in the next few weeks just so I can finally hear them play The Mummers' Dance.
