On another note, I wonder if Westwood One WILL ever release Casey's Top 40 (1989- 1998) for syndication?
I have been relying on SiriusXM 90's on 9 for my 1990s countdowns (which is only the top 30 not top 40).
I am also peeved at their massive round of layoffs last week. Some of the personalities I listen to were PURGED.

Seems like the Satellite Survey can do charts two weeks ahead of today's date. i don't know why they just use March 15th chart like everyone else.

Seems like the Satellite Survey can do charts two weeks ahead of today's date. i don't know why they just use March 15th chart like everyone else. The same reason they don't play 1967 most of the year, namely bcuz the charts from Jan 25 thru Mar 22 1969 have a minor Turtles infestation, if you know what I mean... The Turtles sued SXM years ago over royalty disputes. From what I could find, the case was settled last year in SXM’s favour, but I doubt they’re rushing to play the Turtles’ songs again.

On this week's 1999 countdown, they played a cover version of Elton John's "Written In The Stars." My research shows this version was from a 2012 cover album about which there is very little information online.

I agree with Dave, there should've been more than just one Supremes song on this countdown. We did not need to hear as many songs from Lesley Gore & Petula Clark as we did.
Next week, the regular survey is back with a trip to 1962!

1992 was not a good pick for this week. As already noted, had they chosen the closer calendar date of 3/28 it would have been yet another "two years ago" repeat, however what we did get was a third-time repeat of 3/21.

Yeah plus it seems like they do 1992 every month while other years have not been played for months. The 80s have a more even cycle where each year comes at about five times a year.
