My first impression of this was that it was trying too hard to be American Idiot, but it's really grown on me. I can accept the fact that this is American Idiot, Part 2, because it's just different enough to make an impact on me. This might turn into my favorite album of the year.

Singles for 21st should be:
KYE 21 Guns 21stCB American Eulogy Before The Lobotomy
The entire album is good and they have consistency in their albums because they expand their universe with lyrics not as much sound. All the tracks grow on you even if you don't like them the first time around.

I think the singles after 21 Guns should be
3. Peacemaker 4. Murder City or Horeshoes & Handgrenades to Alt/Rock and Last of the American Girls to AAA 5. Last Night on Earth or Restless Heart Syndrome
When will there be a video for 21 Guns?
I think I rank the tracks like this (excluding Song of the Century) 1. Peacemaker 2. ?Viva la Gloria? (Little Girl) 3. East Jesus Nowhere 4. 21 Guns 5. Murder City 6. Restless Heart Syndrome 7. Before the Lobotomy 8. The Static Age 9. 21st Century Breakdown 10. Last Night on Earth 11. See the Light 12. !Viva la Gloria! 13. Horeshoes & Handgrenades 14. Last of the American Girls 15. Christian's Inferno 16. American Eulogy: Mass Hysteria/Modern World 17. Know Your Enemy

I really, really like 21st Century Breakdown (the song) and hope it gets released as a single. It's kinda like a shorter version of Jesus of Suburbia which is one of my favorite songs ever.

I like 21CB (the track) a lot too, but Peacemaker is my favorite from the album. I hope PM is the 3rd single, followed by 21CB.

It's doing okay so far. They need a CHR hit.

The followup to Bullet In A Bible, another Live CD/DVD coming out March 15th. I wonder what the tracklisting will be and whether it will offer anything more after their last one?

I hope they have a live version of "Viva La Gloria". It was the best song on their last album.

Yeah but how much will it focus on 21st Century Breakdown and will they include the same older songs that Bullet did?

Saw Billie Joe Armstrong on Broadway on American Idiot this past Sunday and he was pretty awesome and he brought the house down when he came out. Too bad his Broadway run is ending next Sunday. He fit right in with the rest of the cast. Heck, he even kissed the lead guy on the mouth and I don't think it was in the script because the other guy was taken by surprise.

Due in September. Green Day 'Uno,' 'Dos,' 'Tre': Band To Release 3 Albums In 4 MonthsGreen Day will release three albums between September 25 and January 15. According to a press release, the trilogy will be called ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, and ¡Tré! and be recorded in Oakland, California, the band's hometown. Singer Billie Joe Armstrong confirmed the news on Twitter: Ok. Here's the deal. We're making a 3 album trilogy. Not 1. Not 2. But 3 albums. Called ¡UNO! ¡DOS! ¡TRE! Coming September November January The number three appears multiple time in a teaser clip released earlier this week (most obviously when Armstrong counts out the number on his fingers). Upon hearing the news, fans flocked to the video to comment their surprise at not having figured it out (it's okay, it was tough). The trilogy will follow 2009's 21st Century Breakdown, a critically well-received record which topped the Billboard charts. In March, Armstrong and Mike Dirnt said their next album would focus heavily on sex. No word on how sex factors into ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, and ¡Tré!, but Armstrong promised that the record would be "the first time we've ever really sung about f**king." www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/04/11/green-day-albums-uno-dos-tres_n_1419494.html

This sounds interesting. Hopefully it's better than 21st Century Breakdown. That was a downer.

I don't like this kind of releases at all.
I would prefer one 12 track album.

I liked this a lot more than I was expecting to. I was afraid that with three albums coming so quickly, they'd be three subpar releases instead of combining the best tracks to make one really solid one. I'm definitely interested in getting the next two, after hearing this one.
Sales are good too, on target for #2 and could sell as much as 170K.

This is a solid album. I love all their stuff, but I always find myself (unfairly) comparing everything to Dookie and American Idiot. Dookie revived a genre and American Idiot is a defining album of the 2000s. Legendary.

Yeah, I like this too. I wanted at least ONE amazing ballad like Wake Me Up, Are We The Waiting, Good Riddance but...the album works for me.

"Amy," on Dos, is a tribute to Amy Winehouse that is said to have a stripped down arrangement. And there are tracks on Tre with orchestral charts so I think there will be something for you in the next two.

The first half of CSI: NY will be nothing but music from Green Day's Dos. May have been more effective if the show aired during release week, but, still not bad exposure.
HITS A DOS OF GREEN DAY: Set your DVRs for tonight’s episode of CSI: N.Y. on CBS at 9 p.m., with the first half-hour consisting of nothing but songs (no dialogue, no score) from Green Day’s new Reprise album, Dos, which comes out Nov. 13. How’s that for an impressive sync? To check out a preview, click here. (10/19p)

F*ck Time reminds me a LOT of a song I made 5 or 6 years ago, specifically the first verse and part of the chorus. I feel so ripped off!
