People need to stop with the derogatory fan names, like Kelbots or referring to fan groups as crazy, etc. Also slamming other artists to get back at posters who's opinions you don't like needs to stop. Keep it to Kelly and her song. This shouldn't be the Kelly vs. Carrie thread or the Kelly vs Christina thread or the even more off topic Christina vs. Beyonce thread. And, finally, if you keep posting over and over about how you think this song is a flop and no one likes it, we've going to start thinking you're trolling this thread– not just offering your opinion. And trust me, you don't want us to think you're a troll. Especially if you're already carrying a warning or two.

Kelbots and shadows are fine because its at least addressing the people involved. Gaymates is totally out of left field and is attacking people that have zero to do with the fans behavior. If the fans want to fight fine but don't drag other people into it with the insults you use.

My personal thought was that shadows and claymates would be fine because the fans of Xtina and Clay call THEMSELVES that (heck Clay even refers to his fans as Claymates). I've never heard a Kelly fan call themselves a Kellbot. But hey, Gigga says none are fine, and I think that's fair.

Thanks Gigga. I think some are trying to fuel a fanwar, or get this thread shut down. I don't think Kelly fans should play their games anymore. The mods seem on it as to who's a troll just trying to cause fanwars and stress where none need to exist. Kelly fans don't have their heads in the sand - they know this song isn't a smash success and that there are probably many factors feeding into it.

So, any thoughts on when the second single (please let it be Haunted haha) will be sent to radio?

Queen of Top 40...not so much!

unless and until another female artist comes along that has a song in the top 10 on radio for 111 weeks (or something like that) I'd say Kelly still reigns as the Queen of Top 40. During the Breakaway era every song that Kelly released went top 10 and as new songs were being released her prior hit wouldn't start really fading until the new one caught up so Kelly had multiple dual top 10s to her credit... Breakaway/SUBG....SUBG/BTHE...... BTHE/BOY.....BOY/WA.....

Something is off with the performance of this song on radio....

myreflection, yes something is off with the performance of the song. IT IS UNDERPERFORMING! it is getting ridiculous watching some of this board try to make it seem like this song is going to have a miraculous comeback, repeating that it "isnt over" or what not. well, as good as the song is (which is extremely good), the song's performance is in fact a dissapointment, a flop, whatever you want to call it.

reaching a high chart number on one or two radio stations does not establish the song as a smash hit, nor does it redeem the song from its underperformance. never again is a great song, yes, but it is not going to all of a sudden reach a positive bullet.

sorry for this rant, but myreflection's insistant posts of this song not being over, and attacking whoever thinks otherwise, has gotten ludicrous.

I don't think that she is going to see a miraculous turnaround on POP. I don't think this song is in need of a second wind, it would need total ressucitation (break out the defib, epi-pin and get ready for a long bout of CPR) and that? Well, don't see it happening.

But, for me, the 'not over' is in referral to mostly Hot A/C (and even RHY - dude, up to 47 from 23? If it can keep doubling spins each week (note the IF) this could actually have a decent showing on here by the time the cd drops) Fuse seems to have jumped on the video large this week - and MTV has even picked up some video plays.

So, yeah, the song might be over on POP - but the song itself, in general, is still kicking and breathing.

Of course I can't speak for MyReflection and if that is actually what she meant/intended with that comment. But that's how I feel about it.

Jen hardly trolls compared to actual trollers. She makes quick - to the point statements, that always have a bite (just the way she does) but never get carried away like legendtina [the true troll]. She doesn't spend much time commenting outside the song itself, if any - the traits of true trolling.

Considering she's actually quite nice to Kelly compared to Aguilera LOL, now THAT'S trolling. She will even get on fans sides every once in a blue moon (mainly when you guys are fighting with Dr. Luke though lol)

BTW: On my station, within the last 3.5 hours Kelly played 4 times. Opening with BOY then WA then SUBG now Never Again just played and she announced it like it just came out all 'Kelly's brand new single' and everything. Kelly played more than any single artist on the station so far today, even Avril and Pink (wont last long but thought that was awesome!). As I typed that U+Ur Hand came on lol.
