I think this song is pretty much done on Pop...that makes me kind of sad because I love the song and think it's better than the vast majority of crap on the radio right now...but I'm not crying in my drink over it that's for sure!

mm hmm , sounds like someone got a PM lol - its cool dude just chill and we will chill. Its not a bad thing for new members to make friends with the board ya know lol? You could even do so with Kelly fans, we don't sting too much I've loved every song Christina put out in this era and defended her multiple times so I don't see why there has to be so much arguement here with Christina vs Kelly and what not. They both have dominated radio in their eras, they both have had some flops, they both have the best voices of our genres. Some prefer Kelly, some prefer Christina , but there's no reason why both fanbases can't get along.

It has a teensy bullet on a side format that could disappear in a day. That should not hold up the release of a new single. They need to get some momentum for this era. A new single should be released by early June.

I like Kelly better than Christina. And correct me if Im wrong, but hasnt legendtina been really harsh to Christina as well? And...everyone? It seems like she is harsh about every artist lmao. (Which, hey, at least she does not discriminate ;) )

And even if Kelly goes through a not so commercial era, i don't see the big deal. It happened to Christina, Pink, J.lo, Britney, Nelly Furtado, etc. It's very normal. It will all be okay.

Yes, i've been harsh to everyone including Christina. But i think i made my point CLEAR with the Kelly fans...lol. So i'll save my harsness for other singers :)

That's exactly why. I think ITZ would've sold more had it been released in 2001. 'Britney' was a disappointment both commercially and critically. ITZ spawned off hits too, and it was a more memorable era. that's why i'd say its a bigger hit. I'd say 'Stripped' was a bigger hit than 'Christina Aguilera' because Stripped was more memorable. It's not AWLAYS about sales.

Nope its not, people don't realize that's when CD sales started to decline as a whole. Britney just went with the trend IMO. And the trend has just gotten worse, that would be considered a smash success nowadays.

Britney is an albums artist. She doesn't need a big single to sell her album. Singles have never been her strong point anyway. She'll have to prove herself with this next album by releasing a hot single, but I don't think that should be a problem. From the sound of it, this could be her best album yet.

I dont think thats really true-well, with Britney it was, but I dont think ITZ would have sold 3 million in the US without massive play for Toxic and Everytime. Have new clips leaked? I would like to hear what they sound like :)
