No signs of it on the radio. I've been checking allaccess every day and it seems it wasn't been added to any station. Come on Epitaph! What about an adds date? It didn't chart on the top 200 of Hot Digital Songs. This was previsible. I'm almost sure #37 on Alternative Songs was its peak on iTunes. I can be wrong, because iTunes was really slow around one week ago. To be fair though, this is a declining band of a declining genre. You cant expect new New Found Glory to be jumped on instantly really.

If it were say 2001 when pop-punk was more prevalent on Alternative radio, you could possibly expect this song to reach the Top 50 in it's first week. I may be the biggest fan of NFG on this board, but to be completely honest, probably reaching the Top 50 period should be an accomplishment for them. Sure, they've had four songs reach the Top 50 before, and three of them reach the Top 15, but without having much success since "All Downhill From Here" was released, I can't expect them to immediately get some major airplay. If it is successful, I'm assuming it will take some time to move on up to stardom again.

Fall Out Boy didnt even reach the top 20 on Modern Rock with a lead single and Panic At The Disco's follow up singles from their latest album were nowhere to be seen. And this worries me because we've yet to even see My Chemical Romance and Paramore release albums in the downturn of the genre.

I don't think I've ever really considered MCR as being in the same genre as FOB or Panic!. They seem more like The Used to me. Either way they'll probably be more affected in a few years. Since I mentioned The Used, I was just looking through the RIAA site earlier today and I realized that both of The Used's first two studio albums are certified Gold, as is their second live album. But their first LIVE album (Maybe Memories) is platinum. I just found that strange, maybe it's just me.

Sometimes their certs don't make sense and sometimes it's the record label's fault. Like the White Stripes' Get Behind Me Satan not being ever certified gold even though it's been eligible for over 3 years and even that's being generious.

I was just pointing that I expected it to get some early adds.

That one is platinum, but the format is "Video Longform". ;)Maybe memories was released as a CD/DVD combo album.

I don't think you should compare FOB and PATD with MCR and Paramore about alternative radio. I bet the lead single from the upcoming album of MCR will go top 20 on Alternative in 2/3 weeks and proably peak in the top 3. As long as Paramore's sound doesn't become excessively poppy, I believe the lead single from their next album will go top 20 in no time. It will probably peak on the top 5.

MCR may be different, but Paramore's 1st two albums were of the same sound as FOB's first 3 and PATD's 1st. If they keep that sound they'll be ok, if they start removing instruments like the other two, then they will take a downhill turn

I don't really think Fall Out Boy and Panic! removed any instruments. Added a whole hell of a lot of them, but didn't take away. It depends on how you look at it though, I'm sure.
Personally, I never really thought Fall Out Boy was the kind of band to become as huge as they did anyway. They're a great band, love their music, but I was really surprised with how popular they became. It wasn't as if they were doing anything all that different from anything before or anything else around at the time, just did it very well.

It wasn't easy to figure that it was a metaphor... ;)

Goes for adds to Alternative radio on January 13th.
Source: All Access.
If I remember well "It's Not Your Fault" didn't go higher than #60 on Alternative, so if this ends reaching the top 40 I'll consider it successful. Not too optimistic about this performing well though.

Rumored track listing for "Not Without A Fight": 01) Right Where We Left Off 02) Don't Let Her Pull You Down 03) Listen to Your Friends 04) 47 05) Truck Stop Blues 06) Tangled Up 07) I'll Never Love Again 08) Reasons 09) Such a Mess 10) Heartless at Best 11) This Isn't You 12) Don't Let This Be the End 13) I'm the Fool Plus "I'm The Fool", this is really the official track listing for "Not Without A Fight". Here's the album artwork: I like it a lot, still it's kinda stupid that "Listen To Your Friends" artwork is basically inspired by UFC and the album artwork it's like one for a political hardcore punk album. Yes, I know this is pointless...

Well, you can see the leaders and starters on All Access... S028-FM/SiriusXM is playing this song a lot... I've been requesting it a lot on www.kroq.com/ I would fully appreciate if some of you could tell me about other huge alternative/modern rock stations in the US... I want this to be successful! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Btw, Epitaph has a really solid roster right now. :o Bad Religion (obviously), Thursday, New Found Glory, Every Time I Die, Escape The Fate, Story Of The Year, Millencolin (In the US only), The Matches, Gallows (In the US only), Pennywise (In Europe only), Converge, Sing It Loud...

Only Victory and Fearless have (slightly) better rosters.

Fearless?! :o
Besides "The Maine", (I'm not a big fan of this band, btw...) and talking in terms of comercial success, there's really no more bands...
Sure they have a bunch of promising bands like "Every Avenue", "The Morning Light", "Alesana" or "Mayday Parade" but none of them are established and I wouldn't be surprised if one of these bands disappeared soon...
While it's a promising roster, I would hardly call it a solid roster...
About Victory Records, I think it's different, there is a solid roster, but still I would put Epitaph Records a step above...
I think Epitaph is the biggest indie label right now. (I don't think Fueled By Ramen is an indie label, otherwise, I would give them the crown...)
Btw, it's good to hear that "Set Your Goals" may be signing with Epitaph! Even if it's only a rumour, I believe it's a strong possibility...

That means the song reached top 100 without have going for adds yet!

Is there a place that shows what stations are actually playing this? A little late, but: addboard.mediabase.com/SongsMenu.aspJust type in New Found Glory, go to "Listen To Your Friends", click on "Show Stations Not Added", and sort by Spins LW.

128 kbps isn't a leak, it's a disgrace. Why do people insist on passing around low quality leaks? It's like the people who keep passing around the advance leak of Glass Passenger. Some guy on a forum about leaks asked about the retail version and everyone was like "Who cares?" It's like settling for rancid pork when you could be eating prime beef. It's disgusting.
