I'm still unhappy about Long Shot making the cd. and I guess I must have misread it, because I could swear I read that TDWFA was composed by Kell/Ryan.

Long Shot is actually ok though... It's much better than I Do Not Hook Up, IMO.

I like Long Shot, it's pretty catchy, Katy's vocal is very different from kelly. Both hook up and long shot are gonna have totally different feels. But the melody is there, both songs have smart catchy hooks, especially hook up.

Whyyouwannawhatever is really warming up to me. it's actually not just random screaming and noise, it has a pretty strong melody.

Can someone tell me what's the different between standard/deluxe/itunes? what versions have what extra songs? im so confused.

why wouldn't they let her write? She did, afterall co-write several of her biggest hits off the Breakaway album.

When the first time i went to their myspace and played it, i was like "WOW hell no" and turned the crazy noise off and re-played All I Ever Wanted.
The same thing with Long Shot. I was like "oh no kelly" and turned it off and went back to the ultra catchy 'hook up'.

I'm such a pop guy. I'm more into MLWSWY and Hook Up than "Save You" or "Ready".
I love bubble gum pop and smart catchy melody ear candy....
Melody that pleases your ear, unlike "The Day We Fell Apart"..=( melody wise that song is more My December than Breakaway. I'm more a breakaway guy. MD was like nightmare for me, although i had it coming. I was mortified when she debuted 'Come Here' on concert. Then she did 'One Minute' on Daytona, and i panicked. If that's the most commercial song on the record, then im screwed. Then I talked on the phone with DrLuke and listened to his rant about how un-mainstream MD was going to be. Then MD leaked, and i was suicidal for days lol

Why are you uphappy about an extra song? If you don't like it, just delete it. Not really a big deal.

Personally, I'll take as many songs as I can get.

Me too - that's why I love MLWSWY so much. I'm disappointed about there not being more Max and Luke songs on the album, but I'll probably love it regardless.

I think that's why i always butt-head with other kelly fans. I'm not into the stuff Kelly wants to sing (the more serious, not very pop/mainstream aka MD). I'm more into the direction Clive/RCA pushing her into (bubble gum pop/rock aka breakaway).
I kindda want her to stay being pop princess (hot/skinny/long blonde hair and all the whole package and stays successful as the #1 pop star with countless awards).

But I love her voice to death, nobody could give me chill the way her voice does. I cant get enough of her voice. I have loved that voice since she open her mouth sang RESPECT on AI top 30. and that feeling has never changed. I love her singing talent, support her, buy everything she puts out. She's the first artist/singer i really follow.(I used to worship Steffi Graf , Pete Sampras and other athletes)

Does that make me a bad fan that i agree with Clive/RCA?

No one does max/luke pop/rock sound better than Kelly, not even the great p!nk imo. Kelly's voice fits their materials perfect!
I feel like such a bad fan giving the history of drLuke vs kelly fans, but i wish she had brought 'Hook Up' to max/luke instead of Howard Benson =)

I bet Kelly didnt want to go back to them and did MLWSWY. But it's a compromise on this 4th album, you win some , you lose some. it's a give and take, so she did it. It's just very unusual that the team behind the lead single (one of the main/most important song on the album) has no other song on the album. Is this common?
I remember DrLuke's article stating Kelly was in the studio just for a couple hours, sang straight and finished the whole song. LOL .He complimented her lung and power.
I took it as Kelly just wanted to get it over with, did her part of the deal to Clive/RCA, recorded the thing and left.
Im pretty sure kelly is a studio kindda girl, who likes to be involved in every step of the process. but MLWSWY/drluke/max is a different story- sang/finished/left. =)

I agree...i want her to be the way she was in 2005..so hot and sooo powerful int he music industry....but..i loved My December :)

For the most part, I agree with that. Nothing compares to Kelly and her commercial, pop songs. She just does it so well! But at the same time I love My December and her songs in that direction, just not as much as her Breakaway-type songs.

I wouldn't consider you a bad fan at all - it's just your preference of music. In a way, I also agree with Clive and RCA. Some Kelly fans think that commercial stuff automatically equals bad and lower quality songs. I don't think that's true at all - you can have meaningful songs and be commercial at the same time. I really just want Kelly to be happy with what she's doing - that's what matters in the end.

I completely agree. And I don't think Kelly even recorded I Just/Only Wanna Dance With You, I think it was only pitched to her - IIRC.

I think i should pre order the standard edition since it's cheaper, then go buy standard and deluxe hard copies

i read on KCE and i went to Itunes, on the Deluxe Edition, 'Already Gone' is track 3.
Deluxe:
1. My Life Would Suck Without You
2. I Do Not Hook Up
3. Already Gone

Standard:
1.Suck
2.Hook Up
3.Cry

This makes me go ..hmmm....
'Already Gone' is the 3rd single then most likely? I think so. So far all the signs are pointing to 'already gone' .
Cry is still the no 3 track on standard edition though, i'm guessing because the standard edition tracklist have been decided for awhile and has been set.
Deluxe edition's cover art and the whole deal came up later. They have probably survey/got feedback on singles potential songs. They ended up putting 'Already Gone' as the 3rd track of the album. we all knew Clive likes this method (putting all the singles on track 1 to 5)

So by getting the deluxe, i would get 2 extra tracks? and by pre-ordering on itunes i would get another xtra track (can we go back)?

I thought it was interesting when she said, at the beginning of the interview, that the toughest part of the music industry isn't the work but it's having to fight to be yourself and to push and try to make sure you're yourself.
