'The Day We Fell Apart' is amazing! And so different from kelly... love the "we fell apart-part-part-part" part (LOL) commercial and really cool! I also like the meaning of the song and the tempo... I thought it was going to be a ballad LOL

TDWFA is pretty damn good! As Will said very different, cool beats and very catch. Most importantly Kelly is sounding amazing. Just think that is a bonus track!!
Way too over produced though, I hope its a demo

She says that working with producers Sam Watters and Louis Biancaniello on "Whyyouwannabringmedown," which she describes as having "kind of a punk-British Invasion sound," was the album's turning point. "I sang that song through I don't know how many times, just because I was having so much fun," she says. "It was new and it was fresh and it didn’t sound like anything on the radio. And after that, I went to my manager and said that I wanted to make a really fun, feisty album, and just wanted to go all the way with every song." That made me smile. :) |

Yeah, that one definitely is. Can We Go Back is not, though, I'd make a substantial bet. It's not - Shanna Crooks is singing it. She wrote the song. |

I just heard "The Day We Fell Apart".
LOVE IT!! Love the prominent bass line and the beat is one of my favorites. Kelly's voice sounds different but awesome. You can tell it's her, but it's different. They put a lot of effects on the vocals, but she sounds so cool.

Ok, I must preface my comment that yes I am glad that RCA decided to release 'Life Would Suck' as the first single, just to get Kelly back on the radio and sales map; however, I am shocked that 'The Day We Fell Apart' is just a bonus track, because it is clearly superiour to 'Life Would Suck' melodically and lyrically. It seems that the instruments/beat are too loud, making her voice a bit hard to hear and it seems that her voice is autotuned- BUT HEAVENS Y ? Man, is this girl versatile- she truly can sing anything ! I know that I am in the minority, but unless Kelly or whoever changed the lyrics and some of the melody to 'Hook Up, I would not want that released as her second single. 'We Fell Apart' would seem to be light years beyond 'Hook Up' so far.... I, too, am soooooo stoked for this record- it really sounds as if it will be as EPIC as Ryan Tedder hypothesizes ! :) |

"If No One Will Listen" is a beautiful song. Although the two are quite different, it reminds me of Sarah McLachlan's "Angel." In her pre-Idol days, Kelly did a demo of "Angel." I have it on my computer and play it often. I just listened to 'Fell Apart' 4000 times while running this evening and wow, I love it more with each listen, especially with headphones, with which the vocals and instruments are both MUCH clearer. The choruses are so bloody big and dramatic "bad mistake...Once I ran away (with instrumental silence)....", reminds me of a car chase scene from a movie or simply a scene from a movie that puts you on the edge. I am sorry I am probably not explaining the effect that this song has on me, but I am AWE !!!! :)

I think if "the day we fell apart" was the first single instead of mlwswy this era it would be even bigger. but mlwswy is an amazing song as well but god damn i can't tdwfa out of my head. i listened to it the whole entire time i was working out tonight. its a great workout song. haha
