I think "Hook Up" will do fine as the second single... I'm with Focus in that I'd like to see "Don't Let Me Stop You" get released... does anyone else think "Long Shot" would do well too? I also think Long Shot would do really good. Its grew on me so much. I love it now. But would they release 2 Katy Perry tracks? :/

I went driving around aimlessly this morning just so that I could listen to the cd at full volume in my car. I am so freaking in love with this album. I don't hear a single dud on the whole thing. AHHHHG! KELLY CLARKSON!!!

I think she could win a Grammy for "Cry". My faith in Kelly and the grammies is gone after "BOY" and the entire work of My December didnt get nominated

I don't know. A lot to digest here. "Ready" now sounds like LuLu/The Beach Boys but I like it. It's like there is alot of 60's and 80's influence here, with "All I Ever Wanted" even sounded a bit like 70's Bee Gees. I don't know what to make it all.

The verses of All I Ever Wanted are so Beatles influenced that it's not even funny. It's a great song and has you bouncing in your seat.

I am REALLY loving Ready atm. Especially this part (which someone can correct the lyrics if they're wrong, cuz I'm not 100% sure they're right):
Through With Golden Roads And Perfect Love Too Much Of Your Mouth Is Like Too Much Sun How I Burn, How I Burn I Was So Patient Waiting For My Turn [ ? ] [ ? ] Come Get Me

I was just listening to Already Gone and I love the "already gone" echoes at around 3 minutes.

First of all, I am really surprised no one noticed how All I Ever Wanted borrows from Spoon's "I Turn My Camera On", the first verse of "Save You" is similar in melody to Britney's "Quicksand" and also reminds me of "Hey There, Delilah" (and this song will be used on some TV show and be huge, watch...). Also, Already Gone not only has "Halo" elements but also Keane's "Somewhere Only We Know", "Truly Madly Deeply" and Coldplay's "In My Place" at the beginning. I like how they combined all of these things to fit Kelly's voice and make her sound fresh, relevant and current but also still maintain her own personality. Good job. I downloaded the CDQ leak but I am only listening to parts of songs to tease myself. Then, I will just play My December until the album comes out. I want some surprises...
Edit: I love this album based on what I have heard even more than My December. I wouldn't have thought that could be possible. This album smokes Breakaway and I haven't even heard the songs in their entirety.

The melodies of those parts are extremely similar. ...and yes, the guitar riff is extremely similar to Spoon's "I Turn My Camera On".

Grammys? Smash? WTF? Are you guys listening to the same album that I do? The reception of All I Ever Wanted has been overwhelmingly positive so far. Most people seem to really enjoy it but I could see how it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea.

This album is fantastic. By far, her best, IMO. Solid from beginning to end. '
'All I Ever Wanted' is blazin'!

The whole album is sort of a mishmash of about 50 different songs from different eras.

Why was the word "s**t" taken out of "Ready?" The same reason the Pulse board puts ** in it.

"Whyyawannabringmedown" sounds like an interpolation of "Ballroom Blitz" to me.

This is a massive improvement over that diasaster My December—the stronger songs here actually have hooks and overall All I Ever Wanted features her most entertaining music yet. Of course not everything here works: Whyuwannabringmedown is a colossal mess, Save You is dreary and a couple other songs here are obvious fillers. It may not be as consistent as Breakaway but ultimately I believe All I Ever Wanted is a satisfying album. Thank Clive! Top tracks: "All I Ever Wanted" "I Do Not Hook Up" "Long Shot" "I Want You" "Don't Let Me Stop You" Worst tracks: "Save You" "Whyuwannabringmedown" "If No One Will Listen" "If I can't Have You"
