I really love this song - shame she supposedly didn't! Another one of those 'Too Little Too Late' sort of songs that's maybe a little bit cheesy but just SO on the ball melodically. Which makes sense as they were essentially written by the same people... Only discovered it last year, but the chorus... <3

I thought this song was pretty decent even though I did like "Too Little, Too Late" also.
I preferred the club mixes for this one and "Love Story." It's a shame her career was handled so badly. Her album had some good songs.

Loved "Over It" but it was always going to pale in comparison to Too Little Too Late because it was totally missing that money-note that JoJo handles flawlessly. Over It just needed that one big moment. It's still a cute track though.
I'm glad to see Katharine working with David Foster and switching to a more jazz/standards sort of direction. This is what she should have done as soon as AI ended, and not shoe-horning into the generic lite-urban pop sound which was totally wrong for her.

I have no interest in Katherine McPhee but this is a seriously great pop song.

"Over It" and "Love Story" were pretty decent singles. I never bothered to listen to her album, though.

This was actually kinda alright. The follow up, Love story however, was absolutely dreadful.

Loved it, spent 4 weeks at #1 on my personal chart.
Rest of the album wasn't that great. "Open Toes" has the worst excuse for lyrics, EVER.

I think this was a poor choice for the first single. I see why they picked it, what with TLTL being so popular, but it was too soon for a song so similar. This one didn't pack much of a punch, either, which is probably why it was barely a moderate hit.
I would have done:
Everywhere I Go Not Ur Girl Neglected
new album.
But I've come to accept pop isn't really where Kat belong. She's belongs more in the jazz/indie singer-songwriter world. Her next album should be much better.
Edit: wow, great grammar up there^

My friends and I still sing "i'm so over iiiiiittttt." I liked this quite a bit, but really loved "Love Story." That song and video were unique and a perfect sound/look for Kat's pop career. *sigh* What could've been.

This + Love Story are the only songs she has done worth much of anything. Oh and her cover of Me by Paula Cole, other than that her hype has always perplexed me... even to this very day.

Great, great song! This was actually the top song of 2007 on my personal Top 30 chart.

This and Love Story were great. I tend to gravitate toward songs like this anyway. It's just undeniably catchy, and I love her vocal performance.

Hate it. She sounds really weak on this.

I like it and it went top 10 on my chart but this isn't the kind of music she should be doing.

I didn't like this when it came out, but I enjoy it now.
She sounded great, and unlike 99% of her debut album, this wasn't a complete travesty.
"Unbroken" isn't very mainstream, but it's such an excellent album. That's the kind of music I think she should stick to.

I loved it then and I still love it now. Although I'm over all those songs that followed the "Irreplaceable" template in their sound, I'm not over this particular song (no pun intended). The chorus is awesome.
