Second single from Metamorphosis, or third if you count Hollywood Whore. Goes for adds May 25th - 26th.

At least the rest of the album isn't like this. And at least the music doesn't sound like every other cock rock band. That's all I got.

You know I love it when you're down on your knees And I'm a junkie for the way that you please You shut me up when you swallow me down My back to the wall you're going to town
I almost told you that I loved you Thank God I didn't 'cause it would have been a lie I say the damnedest things when you're on top of me I almost told you that I loved you
I hate to say it but it has to be said You look so fragile as I fuck with your head I know it shouldn't but it's getting me on If sex is the drug then what is the cost?
I almost told you that I loved you Thank God I didn't 'cause it would have been a lie I say the damnedest things when you're on top of me I almost told you that I loved you
I'm not the one that you want Not the one that you need My love is like a fucking disease
You can give me your hand You can make your demands I'm the hardest mother fucker to please
I almost told you that I loved you Thank God I didn't 'cause it would have been a lie I say the damnedest things when you're on top of me I almost told you that I loved you
(I'm not the one that you want) I almost told you that I loved you (I'm not the one that you need) Thank God I didn't 'cause it would have been a lie (I'm not the one that you want) I say the damnedest things when you're on top of me (The one that you need) I almost told you that I loved you
Wonderful.

Jacoby used to be a much better lyricist. What the hell happened to this band? Seriously?

I'm trying to be helpful. I don't know, maybe it's just me. It's nothing to do with anything you say, it's just that avatar. And that sig. It just...I dunno. It's...designed to hurt.

Relax, dude. I know you aren't. Smirkiness almost qualifies as my middle name.
And seriously: for someone who happens to use snarkiness so well (and no, I'm not being ironic, believe me), it puzzles me that you don't get the obvious dark humor of my siggy.

It's a montage. I didn't do it, for the record. And c'mon, if anyone doesn't happen to get the joke of watching Steven Seagal shooting children, then someone needs to get a sense of humor very quickly.

^ I get the joke, I'm just opposed to the slaughter of children by Seagal. I voted against it at this past year's election.

And this is why I will always hate Hinder. Forever and ever. I thought Buckcherry did it before Hinder did. It is hard for me to explain why I give Buckcherry a pass. And I think the main reason is because the first Buckcherry album I heard was actually Josh Todd's solo album, so I know that Josh Todd has some more serious vibes in him. I am not crazy about "Crazy Bitch" or "Too Drunk", but I tolerate them because I know Buckcherry has better songs in their catalog. And really, I think it was Hinder that blew the doors wide open.

And actually, I'm right, because I just remembered. 15 came out in 2006, Extreme Behavior came out in 2005. So they probably exploded about the same time, but Hinder had the lead.

What from Extreme Behavior do you consider "Cock-rock"? I know Hinder's new album is filled with them, but besides Lips of an Angel, which barely ever references sex in it, except maybe once, there isn't any. Where as Crazy B**ch is about sex in general, and is practically Buckcherry's only BIG hit (Besides Sorry, of course.)

I mean, granted the former is about makeup sex, but still. But to me cock-rock isn't just about singing about sex in songs, it's a whole attitude, it's a whole lifestyle, and that's what Hinder presents in their songs and that's what they've inspired in other artists. I mean their first tour was with Girls Gone Wild. "Crazy Bitch" is not Buckcherry's only big hit, but even if it was, that only really proves my point that Hinder has done much more for the current state of music than they did.

I dont have a problem with cock-rock But Josh Todd admits to being completely opposite to what he writes about when it comes to his dirty sex songs. He's a family man, more of a loving guy, and says that for the love of god he does not want his daughter turning out to be the type of girl his song's are about

Oh Sh*t, I completely forgot about Get Stoned. I never liked Room 21. (Plus it was never a hit really) For some reason that song kinda goes for me how your rule with Buckcherry goes though, I let it slide...Especially considering Hinder has a lot of stuff that isn't anywhere near that too. (Not that they don't have others...Up All Night...Use Me...etc.) But Buckcherry does as well. I just don't see how saying a band is bad, or is headed down the drain just because they tried this method. It's worked for a few bands now, I don't see the harm.

It's a personal matter for me.
Personally I find that lifestyle really disgusting on a base level, and I can't really approve of how it's filtering through rock currently. It's not why I got into music. And it really irks me that several bands I really love are now turning to this kind of fad to score more hits.
Papa Roach and Nickelback both are no longer the bands I enjoyed, and it frustrates me a little bit, because I do find that lifestyle so nauseating. And Hinder just seems to me to be the epitome of that whole train of thought right now. They're not the only band I dislike, but they're the first band I think of as an example.
Buckcherry I tolerate because I've heard better from them, you'd really have to hear Josh Todd's solo album to maybe understand. But overall I think songs that glorify the whole club/party/lots of sex/booze hound/get wasted scene are trash, and that scene is trash, and really it just makes me a little bit ashamed of both rock and people that it's so popular right now.
