His best look for me has always been less is more like the WWFM video. However I do like when he goes all out with his 'glam' look but some of them is just well...no lol. Nice to see the album sales moving up and ita about Susan B, with her insane sales there is only so much more she can sell. Its all about consistency with her.
As for the album, all I care about is quality, some say having the same sound is boring or being all over the place can be a mess and both is true. I get trying to evolve and try new things but I always am a fan of trying to perfect what you do best. Randy criticized both Adam and Kris's albums and the one that makes even less sense to me is that Kris sounds is exactly what I expected from him and what he did on idol. Unless folks expected an album full of acoustic music which is silly should know Hac/Pop/light rock is exactly Kris.
Adam did try many styles and I don't see him repeating that in the future but he does have an eclectic taste, ironically the rock sound which I expected more from him are the ones I wasn't too sure off and I ended up liking quite a few on the album. Hypocrite or not its Randy's opinion and people are doing Adam no favors by jumping down the throats of anyone who dare have a less then positive opinion of him. Some of their antics has been no less then embarrassing.

Was it cold enough to bother with a shawl?

Yeah it was below freezing in Toronto, which, for a SoCal boy is pretty darn cold. Today at least, the low is 10 degrees, and the high is 30 degrees.

^today was the tentative date, but they still have some legal paperwork to do apparently. Here's what someone from RCA posted at Adam Official: The tentative date is January 28, guys, but I'm actually still working on getting the waivers and paperwork signed by all the lawyers...fun, fun...

Adam looked really, really good on MOD. I love that outfit, and you can tell he's lost weight too.
This really awesome behind the scenes video for the "Whataya Want From Me" music video appeared today! It features topless Adam, which is nice :)

I just got this album in its entirety, as I'd previously only previewed a few tracks. I'm enjoying it so far, post my thoughts on it later!

Went to my a Target in my local mall and not a single "FYE" album in stock, although they did have one copy of "Take One". Not sure if that's b/c it's understocked or selling out but I have yet to see a store that had more than 3 or 4 copies in stock...9 weeks after release. Very odd.
I ALWAYS see rows upon rows of albums by Rihanna, Kris Allen, Justin Beiber, etc.

I bet Adam will be at the Clive Davis party tonight. American idols usually go, and it will be a good opportunity for him to mingle with tons of people in the industry.
Jen Hudson and Carrie are performing, so I don't think Adam will perform. But I bet he will attend.

If he's recovered enough from his massive birthday party last night, I think he might go, but if not? I wouldn't expect him to.

Adam Lambert: The Front Porch Interview, Pt. 1Adam Lambert is obviously a much in-demand celebrity, so by this point we're all used to seeing him in "on" mode: vamping it up in music videos, strutting the red carpet, posing on the covers of glossies, serving as ET's Grammy fashion correspondent, granting formal interviews to Oprah and Barbara, etc. This is why Reality Rocks was so surprised and delighted to catch him during some of his all-too-rare downtime, on the Monday afternoon after his big blowout Grammys/birthday weekend, just chilling on a front porch outside a secret Hollywood location after one of his many photo shoots. Because sometimes the laid-back, lo-fi approach is the best way to really get the good interview info: just a simple man, a gazebo, a handheld flipcam, an L.A. sunset, and a whole lot of freeform rambling about what matters most, music. In part 1 of Adam's front porch chat, we talk a little bit about his influence on American Idol season 9 and his depiction in the media (which sadly rarely actually focuses on what he's doing musically) before getting into the fun stuff: his superstar collaborations with the likes of Muse, Lady Gaga, and Rivers Cuomo; how he maintained his artistic vision during the making of his album For Your Entertainment, and what really happened that fateful night at Burning Man. Part 2 will be up tomorrow! video at the link new.music.yahoo.com/blogs/realityrocks/310947/adam-lambert-the-front-porch-interview-pt-1/

Adam Lambert: The Front Porch Interview, Pt. 2Adam Lambert certainly is one chatty guy...which makes him an interviewer's dream, of course, since with him there's always a lot to talk about. In fact, part 2 of Reality Rocks' "front porch" interview--which took place on a veranda outside a Hollywood studio at dusk--could have even gone on longer, if it hadn't been for the fact that we were quickly losing all natural light, and the dimly illuminated sunset interview was kind of starting to look like a seance. At one point Adam amusingly semi-apologized for his loquaciousness (it was quite all right, seriously), and said, "You'll probably edit this down." Um, nah. It was all good stuff, and low-key moments like this are all too rare with Adam nowadays. So why not put up the whole conversation, uncut and unguarded? During part 2 of our interview, we covered my personal favorite song on Adam's album, "Music Again" (penned by Justins Hawkins of the Darkness); rumors about another Justin (Timberlake, that is); his dream collaborations; his upcoming remixes EP; and why/how he's tried to strike a balance between electro and rock 'n' roll in his music, while staying true to himself. If you're already a fan of Lambert's music, this interview should offer some great insight into Adam the artist. And if you're not a fan, this interview just might make you one: video at the link new.music.yahoo.com/blogs/realityrocks/311306/adam-lambert-the-front-porch-interview-pt-2/
