^^ Really, foxxy? Don't you think that will be too risky? Love the song, but there's that one pronoun. I'm guessing IIHY.

It's pop music, people aren't gonna pay much attention to the lyrics. Even if they are, it's not like it's so controversial. If America can handle gay kisses in soap operas, they can handle Adam saying "he". Based solely on the sound, IIHY is a much riskier choice than Fever.

Adam Lambert - Golden BoyCongratulations to Adam Lambert who just officially achieved GOLD-level sales in the U.S. of 500 Thousand units for his debut album For Your Entertainment. What an amazing accomplishment. Thanks to all the fans who purchased the album and support Adam!! www.adamofficial.com/us/news/adam-lambert-golden-boy

I'd like them to go with Fever third, but I think they'll play it safe with If I Had You, followed by Fever, Sleepwalker, and Music Again?

His AOL Sessions were pretty good but Soaked was kind of off. It's alright though. It's not exactly the easiest song to sing anyhow.

We must have been watching different sessions then...I thought "Soaked" was phenomenal! Loved the acapella breakdown in the end. Mood- if WWFM goes top ten I think that will allow Adam more leverage for a follow-up and conservative PD's may be more accepting of the "he" line in "Fever. Oh and after seeing "Fever" sessions...I am definitely feeling it as single #3...Adam really got into the song!

Funny no one is mentioning the Adam/Kris and Allison Concert from last night. Maybe because Adam was so lewd? Totally uncool in my book for a performer to have women grab his crotch while performing...oh, and licking someones camera? Yuck! Not to forget him cussing out anyone in the audience who didn't like it. Just WOW.
I imagine since Kris and Allison were also performing, there were kids in the audience....so very uncool.

What would Clay have to do with whether I like Adam or not. < confused> Clay may not like Adam's Performance Art, but I'm not a member of the borg....I do have my own opinions. I never said that the reviews were bad....just I was surprised that no one was talking about it here...as it is all over Twitter, and I hear it is causing quite the controversy on his fan boards. Personally I feel that type of behavior on-stage is lewd. I really like Lady Gaga..she is an artist...but Adam? OTT and lewd.

I see the same prudes complaining about something utterly trivial. If you don't like what Lambert is selling, then don't buy his product. It's pretty much that simple. He's never going to be one of the bland, faceless Idol alums that you all cream your pants over.

Not to forget him cussing out anyone in the audience who didn't like it. Just WOW. I imagine since Kris and Allison were also performing, there were kids in the audience....so very uncool. For the life of me I can not understand why some people get seriously offended by things celebrities say or do. We don't elect these people like politicians nor are they people anyone should be looking up to. If you are that desperate for a role model, befriend a Police Officer or Fireman or Firewomen. Heck, I'm sure you can find a friend or a family member who works hard and makes sacrifices for people they love....Those are the heroes people should be looking up to...not pop stars who are meant to entertain us. Now don't get me wrong if a celebrity says or does something that malicious like a racial slur or homophobic remark then I get being offended by that because that is discrimination...but licking a digital camera is not going to hurt anyone's feelings. If you don't like what you see on TV, change the channel...if you don't like what you hear on the radio, switch the dial, if you don't like what people do in concerts then don't go. It's really that simple. Happy Valentine's Day

For the life of me I can not understand why some people get seriously offended by things celebrities say or do. Because they influence our kids primarily. It's tough enough to raise decent kids without fighting the entire cultural milieu we live in. If you're not a parent who gives a damn, then I can see your point. But it's high time those who support these creeps were called on it.

^ Here's a thought: try parenting your kids instead of trying to parent Lambert and the rest of the music industry who don't share your taste.

Pretty much most of America has decided to not buy Music in general anymore period. lol For the life of me I can not understand why some people get seriously offended by things celebrities say or do. I would never teach my kids to look up to rich people who live these privileged fairy tale lives and don't have to worry about everyday concerns like paying bills. There is no lesson to be learned in doing that. Take it at face value and don't worry the world won't stop spinning because of it.

It's tough enough to raise decent kids without fighting the entire cultural milieu we live in. If you're not a parent who gives a damn, then I can see your point. But it's high time those who support these creeps were called on it. Well, I'm a parent that gives a damn and I've managed to raise one child that's working on her masters at NCSU, one working on her BA at UNCC, and one that's #2 as a Sophomore in her HS. But the difference could be that I decided to raise my children instead of letting society do the raising or blaming others when I didn't want to take the time. I decided what they should be exposed to and at what age and when it was appropriate, I started dragging them to concerts and they saw much more explicit sexy times on stage than Adam's shown yet and still managed to survive and prosper. Imagine that. But if parenting children instead of expecting society to do it is too much trouble for some, perhaps we could bring back burning at the stake for anyone that is different than what we personally like in concert. Of course, we're going to lose a good many of our artists but what the hell, we will still have those boring white guys and some even have guitars. Long live Rock and Roll.

So it's Adam's fault because people in the audience reportedly grabbed his crotch? Or is it his fault because he didn't immediately jump up and disrupt the concert or shout for help? That's the same type of mentality that puts blame on rape victims for not fighting hard enough or for not saying no loud enough. People need to stop with the "oh what about the children" mentality. I seriously doubt any children or cameras were harmed or will be harmed in the future by the licking of a camera. As far as cursing, he said two or three curse words. I've heard worse on the tv during prime time and day time shows. Heck, I've heard worse on the streets and in supermarkets. Any parent of worth knows how to explain about what words are appropriate. Let's get back to talking about the music. His vocals were out of this world during the concert. He gets better and better every time he sings live.

It's those who admire Lambert's behavior who haven't got a clue. They confuse aggressive vulgarity with entertainment--fit even for children. Then these same people--yourself, for instance--complain if we push back. Sorry, it doesn't work that way. For every action there's a reaction--none of it boding well for his success.

I see the moral police have arrived.
Guess what? If you don't like Adam's stage antics, then don't watch. Get over yourselves and stick to your white bread entertainers who never curse or hint at any type of sexuality during a performance. Really, the rest of us don't mind.

After the whole AMA thing, I think any concerned parent would know what to expect out of Adam. LOL
I don't see anything wrong with it myself. That was not the Idol tour. Everybody knows he's raunchy by now. He's grown up entertainment. People have every right to be offended by his act, of course, but its not like you don't know its coming by now. So if you went and were "shocked", that's pretty much on you IMO.
I had more of an issue with it when it was on the Idol tour. But now? Nope.

If somebody farts constantly at the dinner table, he's not exactly being immoral, but he's still a slob. Of course some at the dinner table may be slobs as well--so they may not be offended. Normal folks react negatively to such behavior.

They also smoke cigarettes and do drugs--but that doesn't mean it's good for them. Art should refine, not coarsen our kids.

LMAO Please tell us how you really feel... but how about discussing his music not insulting his fans.

LMAO Please tell us how you really feel... but how about discussing his music not insulting his fans. What I wrote was pretty logical: if Adam is acting like a slob on stage while his fans are grabbing his crotch, and while other fans are hooting their approval, how can you not conclude that his fans are acting like slobs as well? It's all pretty sleazy public behavior. As for kids smoking and doing drugs--obviously I wasn't implying all kids do this, or even most, but some do--and it's not a good thing. Some things are just wrong--and it's okay to say so. As for his music--it's been my impression for a while now that Lambert himself shows scant respect for his own talent as a singer. He does this by putting his priority on being outrageous. Adam seems eager to scandalize in order to enhance his celebrity--and this has precedence over everything else, even over the music. I think he's dead wrong to go this route since it's been tried before and it's getting pretty old. My bet is he's actually turning off more people than he's turning on.
