I was never a fan of Kelly's version of "Oh Holy Night" either. She sounds fine, but it's the arrangement of the song that I dislike.
I can't believe you don't like Mariah's version, wallace! Mariah sang her ass off on that Christmas CD and that song in particular.

^ I agree! I really hate Kelly's O Holy Night. The production (or lack therof) is terrible, and the choir is annoying. I was surprised to see that it's getting spins on the radio.

MGUPL spins this week: Kelly Clarkson - My Grown Up Christmas List (1,984 spins) Most spun Idol-related holiday track, and I believe it's one of the oldest ![](http://yoursmiles.org/ssmile/fun/s0270.gif)

Some Kelly love: top40.about.com/od/top10lists/tp/top1002000s.09.htmAnd if you think them naming "Since U Been Gone" as the best Pop song of the decade is awesome, wait until you see the only other Kelly song on the list: Some "Never Again" love which I think is awesome, and totally unexpected!

I'm totally the opposite when it comes to the Christmas songs. I dislike MGUCL and I love O Holy Night. I've never liked MGUCL though from everyone. I love the message I just hate the song. LOL!

The guy who does those reviews is such a Kelly st@n. I always loved reading his reviews because he always gave Kelly 5 stars lol. Though he's generally positive about all music, he seems to love Kelly the most. And who wouldn't? ;)

I'm assuming Kelly goes back home to her family over the holidays, and maybe the studio, but hopefully, we'll get a new single in January, promo appearances on Idol (the season starts January 12) and maybe elsewhere, and at the Grammys on January 31 before she heads overseas. The fact that she'll be out of the country most of the time from early February to late April suggests to me that if there's going to be a 4th single, January will be the only time to promote it in the US. I thought the same thing...she needs a break.

There is a reason she made me choke up in Beaumont when she sang Sober. I had to actually make myself stop from crying, almost embarrassing!!
I love LOVE LOVE that Never Again gets some recognition. I know many people didn't like it but it is still one of my very favorite singles. I appreciate it now more than I did when it was released which says something, IMO.

TIME magazine Top 10 songs of 20091. "My Life Would Suck Without You" by Kelly ClarksonThis monster hit, created by pop Frankensteins Max Martin and Dr. Luke, has rhythm and melody lines ripped indiscriminately from all their other hits and lyrical inspiration courtesy of a high schooler's Facebook wall. ("I know that I've got issues/ But you're pretty messed up too.") Where a lesser singer might have tried to animate the parts with a vocal lightning storm, Kelly Clarkson sings the words with her signature ease, building to an emotional crescendo that's pointless to resist. Nearly a decade after her journey from waitress to American Idol, Clarkson's lack of pretension remains her greatest asset. 2. "Two Weeks" by Grizzly Bear 3. "No Line on the Horizon" by U2 4. "The Fear" by Liliy Allen 5. "Crown on the Ground" by Sleigh Bells 6. (Tie) "Stillness Is the Move" by Dirty Projectors and also Solange 7. "White Liar" by Miranda Lambert 8. "D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune)" by Jay-Z 9. "Sabali" by Amadou and Marium 10. "Mad World" by Adam Lambert www.time.com/time/specials/packages/article/0,28804,1945379_1944027,00.html

Wow I remember the first time I listened to Sober after breaking up my 2 year relationship. It was morning and I was going to work... then it randomly started playing... I couldn't hold back tears, it was a mess! Driving and singing and crying! LOL! Oh Kelly, you kill me.

Considering they are all in different genres, it's difficult to judge them. Plus, Kelly is in the most mainstream genre, so she has the best chance of her songs being noticed. Technically speaking though, Kelly is the most acclaimed.

How amazing is that 'Since U Been Gone' is making nearly every top 10 (often times #1, lol) song of the decade list. Now, to see Time magazine choose 'Life Would Suck' just fl :o :ors me ! On a side note, we are on page 98 and well over 100,000 views. When do y'all start a new thread ?
