Ok I have friends in the UK who are watching the Grammys tonight over there, as they don't air in the UK until today. Anyway, they noticed Carrie was getting alot of good feedback on twitter, so I checked, and every single comment is GOOD. yay!
They seemed to love Carrie, at least at the Grammys. lol Obviously I don't know how they feel about her in general. lol More importantly, they even KNEW WHO SHE WAS! lol yeah! So some people do know who she is in Europe! lol Here is proof!:

I prefer the inside pics as well. Not sure why they felt the need for so much editing....Carrie is absolutely stunning as it is.

I think they were just trying to make her face "sexier". And, they failed.

I don't understand the problem with the picture at all. I think she looks amazing! It looks like her to me, but they did her eye makeup differently.I think she looks great! She doesn't look too thin or bony. That is what her body looks like in real life as she is thin and tiny in real life.

If anything, she looks really curvy in that picture, more so then usual, because of the cut of the dress.

By the way, even though we all knew by now, Variety is officially reporting that Carrie will play a church youth leader in "Soul Surfer." The article is pay-only, but I saw the headline, and thought I'd share.

Dennis Quaid, Helen Hunt, AnnaSophia Robb and Carrie Underwood will star in the indie drama "Soul Surfer," about teen surfing champ and shark attack survivor Bethany Hamilton.

Being directed by Sean McNamara, the project marks country music star Underwood's bigscreen debut.

Based on Hamilton's autobiography, biopic centers on the surf icon (Robb) who defied all odds to compete and win professional championships after losing her arm in a shark attack at age 13. Quaid and Hunt play Hamilton's parents, and Underwood has taken on the role of a church youth leader.

McNamara, Deborah Schwartz, Douglas Schwartz and Michael Berk penned the screenplay.

Lorraine Nicholson and Kevin Sorbo round out the cast of the pic, which began lensing this week in Hawaii.

Newly launched Mandalay Vision is producing alongside Brookwell McNamara Entertainment and Life's a Beach Entertainment. Affirm Films, a Sony Pictures Entertainment company, will distribute.

Enticing Entertainment and Island Film Group put up the coin for the film, which Douglas Schwartz, David Brookwell, McNamara and Roy Dutcher Hofstetter are producing. David Zelon, David Tice and Dominic Ianno exec produce.

I'm thinking they might have misinformation, because from everything else I've read it was picked up by Sony pictures before it even began shooting.

Also, Carrie will be featured on the April issue of Allure magazine.

Just so people know, the Schwartz people are the writers for Baywatch. McNamara wrote for te That's So Raven series, as well as the surfer show Beyond the Break. Finally, Michael Berk also seemed to work on Baywatch and other surf related shows with the Schwartz couple... I'm nervous.

It's an Indie film. Variety is never wrong with that kind of stuff. It will be distributed by a smaller label owned by Sony.

This is baby steps, if she wants to pursue a career in acting. She's not going to get the big parts or the most critically acclaimed roles offered to her until they can actually see that she can act.

Nashville, TN – After winning her fifth GRAMMY Award this past weekend, superstar Carrie Underwood is headed toward another amazing weekend as she performs the national anthem for Sunday’s Super Bowl XLIV, but today she has a touchdown of her own, scoring today’s #1 video on iTunes with “Temporary Home.”

iTunes debuted the powerful video yesterday with a two-day exclusive, February 2 and 3, and “Temporary Home” will hit the broadcast airwaves when it makes its television debut February 4 in Hot Shot rotation on CMT and in Turbo rotation on GAC.

Fans can also be watching for Carrie on the cover of the March issue of Cosmopolitan, on stands early this month, with an Allure cover feature hitting stands for their April issue.

Carrie Underwood covers her face as she arrives at Miami International Airport on Wednesday (February 3) in Miami Beach, Florida.

The 26-year-old country singer is set to make her film debut, starring in a film alongside Dennis Quaid, Helen Hunt, and AnnaSophia Robb in the indie drama Soul Surfer. The film tells the true story of teen surfing champion Bethany Hamilton, who lost her arm in a shark attack at the age of 13.
